"As for any restaurant we went to that week, we took advice from our guest house, and once again, it was a great pick. Not many people at this time of the year on the beautiful terrace that runs along a church, but pleasant temperatures....On the menu, just enough to chose from: we all had appetizers (eggs salmon —very nice/tasty, goat cheese croustillant —classic but perfect execution) and main courses (we tested the frogs, the beef entrecôte, the honey duck and the lamb shank). All main courses were cooked/grilled/baked to perfection. Tender and juicy meat with rounded aromas from sauces. Superb. After all of that we could only do an “ile flottante” which we shared, and coffee. Service was upbeat, with smiles and good advice. Would come again."

"Le chef cuisine fait des mélanges qui ne sont pas du goût de tout le monde, lors de notre dernier repas et on était 40 personnes, l'apéritif cointreau jus de citron imbuvable et rien en remplacement , les assiettes pas trop garnies sont réparties pratiquement pleines, et le dessert n'en parlons pas, une glace au thym et crumble de pommes non pelée,. c'était pire, je ne reviendrai pas, je rajoute qu'on s'est gelé en plein hiver pas de chauffage, et pour finir mon café à terminé sur mon smoking, c'est scandaleux !"

"in the middle of this small village with narrow streets, what a surprise to discover such a beautiful establishment. Magnificent terrace, beautifully planted, bucolic, and so quiet. The service is smiling and attentive. the card is short, announced in the voice, but each dish seems full of promises. and indeed, from the entrance to the dessert, we have enjoyed it. It was a very good time of relaxation and tasting. We'll come back, and why not, maybe we'll also test the hotel part."

"Le carpaccio de boeuf excellent, ma mère a prit un oeuf poché, artichaut truite excellent Mon mari un tataki de thon excellent pintades roties super cuisson pas sec et avec l’épice cajun et sa purée Le porc aussi avec sa sauce gribiche Le dessert nougat glacé est bon Le service est parfait pour moi, pas intrusif mais pas non plus mis de cote. Joli endroit en terrasse, avec un peu de vent parfait pour que les moustiques ne nous embetent pas. Agreable belle soirée"

"As soon as I had my pass sanitaire checked I realised that something was different. I went into the kitchen and realised that numa, his wife and the whole team had gone. Wow! We have been going there since the beginning and were witnesses to...its remarkable evolution into a terrific restaurant, very sought after. And after talking to the new propietere she informed me that yes , they had sold up and moved on. They have certainly kept the spirit of the place and improved the courtyard with better tables and chairs.. still the same chalkboard menu with the same sort of choices. Three choices for each course. I had the fish which was perfectly cooked and my other dining partners were pleased with their choices. I think if you had never been there before then it’s the same experience. Beautiful setting, fresh local well cooked food and excellent service at reasonable prices. I wish them good luck. Also there opening hours are much more user friendly so that may be a good thing. Ate there twice this month. However I kept wondering what happened to Numa"
