We had spent the previous day going around the Christmas markets 'snacking' and I desperately needed a black tea with milk hard to come by in Germany and some real food, something with nutrients!! haha! : So we popped in for an omelette and it...was wonderful! Great service, so warm and terrific simple food

We were surprised that the pasta we got was so delicious; more tasty than expected. The pasta was a mile away from al dente but the sauce was good. The location is perfect for people watching but that is what the waiters are doing all...day. To get attention despite having male waiters within meters took min. At the end we were reminded that tips were not included! Tough luck!!

This time we were a bit disappointed. We saw other people that arrived after us getting their meals served. The kitchen forgot our order and the waiter only realized after quite some time. When we finally got it the two pizzi missed a bit of...flavor. Finally when we asked the bill the other waiter said no word. No thanks, good evening, just nothing. Why did I bother to pay a tip after all

Barolo is located directly in Düsseldorf am Kö. There are some outdoor seats protected by large screens. From this point of view you can observe the driving of people. To avoid freezing, there are heating mushrooms and blankets at the tables. It's nothing special, it's just like a café as it's somewhere else to find. We took a place to drink a coffee. For such a cappuccino we paid 7,90€. That's the baby, you expect it to be a little more expensive.

This place looks quite neat and pleasant so we decided to have some predinner drinks. As nobody attended to us after standing for a while while a few staff were standing chatting with each other we decided to sit at a table just outside the...restaurant. Eventually we ordered some Gluhwine which was quite tasty actually. When we asked for the bill, without being presented with a receipt, the waiter asked for Euros two Gluhwines, I gave him a ten Euro bill and he never gave me any change back. What a terrible attitude, AVOID this place

For those who know the Konigsallee in Düsseldorf the area is very up market with all the designer brands vying for space. However the KoGalerie is a shopping centre accessed off the Konigsallee and inside, like many centres has a range of eateries. Having shopped...until we nearly dropped we decided to take a late lunch around and found Barolo's in the centre. The menu is very Italian a variety of Pasta dishes, Pizza's and meat dishes. We decided on a couple of Pasta Carbonara and a Pizza Italiane. They also have a small drinks menu and a glass of Merlot, a glass of house Chianti and large Weiss beer was ordered.
