"For those who know the Konigsallee in Düsseldorf the area is very up market with all the designer brands vying for space. However the KoGalerie is a shopping centre accessed off the Konigsallee and inside, like many centres has a range of eateries. Having shopped...until we nearly dropped we decided to take a late lunch around and found Barolo's in the centre. The menu is very Italian a variety of Pasta dishes, Pizza's and meat dishes. We decided on a couple of Pasta Carbonara and a Pizza Italiane. They also have a small drinks menu and a glass of Merlot, a glass of house Chianti and large Weiss beer was ordered. Service was good, the restaurant was pretty quiet so difficult to tell how it would be on a Saturday lunchtime! Prior to our main dishes arriving a nice plate of olives, garlic mayonnaise and fresh bread was served. The main dishes were clearly freshly made and well presented. The bill came to less than Euros which considering its location was in our mind very reasonable. A thoroughly enjoyable meal recommended"

Düsseldorf, a vibrant city on the Rhine, is known for its modern architecture, art scene, and Altbier. Typical foods include Rheinischer Sauerbraten and Halve Hahn.
