"I was here with my whole family and it was terrible food for all of us. I have to say that was my worst pizza I ever tried in my life (and I had many!). After telling the waiter that the pizza doesn't taste to anything he just left the table and never came back. At the end of course we were charged the full amount (after leaving almost our full meals on the plates). Also two of us had a pasta, which was not better either. I don't know why people still go here. The daughter of the owner makes a lot of advertisement through TV and is present in cooking shows for her pizza. But in reality she can't have any idea of how a real pizza looks like, or she never tried her own in the restaurant. Also she completely ignored our complains about the food. Very very bad place and service, we will definitely never come back here!!"

I went to Mario's for dinner. The pizza was perfect and the staff was very welcoming. They welcomed my poor attempt at speaking German ;)

The food was excellent. The separes let you feel like in venice. The ambition and the service was great. Taste the calzone....and you know what i mean :-)

Great pizza prepared in a traditional wood fired oven. Friendly and helpful service. Within the party and artist quarter of munich in close proximity to the university "LMU".

We like the pizzas and the atmosphere. The owners are very nice and most of the wait staff are nice. The menu is long and there are lots of pizza options and they are delicious but not for a tight budget.

An interesting restaurant. I think it was first open in the 1970's. Very Italian. Good menu. Food was good. Service average. All our meals arrived at very different times. My friends Pizza arrived after we had eaten our main courses and the plates had been cleared. Apparently this is not unusual in Germany

The Pizza is awesome real traditional Italian pizza! The restaurant is great for Family, Business meetings, and Events. A large menu for you to enjoy your favorite Italian dish. The staff is competent and friendly. The restaurant it self is in a great central location in Max Vorstadt close to the University and the English Garten. Buon Appetito!

Bei Mario is one of the first (maybe THE first) Pizza places in Munich. It was decorated at a time when Italian food was still perceived as very exotic. Now, this is somewhat between outdated and authentic. To me, that's what makes up Mario. And no matter what changes happened over the past 30 years, it's still the best Pizza you will get in Munich.

Pizza was really good. In our group we chose 3 different types, one was slightly burned but the other 2 were cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of cheese and the dough not too salty, which is often the problem with pizza, and you end up drinking litres of water throughout the night! Deor is a bit outdated, but the individual booths are really pleasant and intimite, no conversation audible from nearby tables. Bathrooms were spotless. Our waiter was very friendly and we were served in a very quickly considering it was Saturday night. Will definately go back.
