"Booked online last minute, no problem at all. Was on the busier side but seemed to be plenty of staff and everyone was in a good mood. Food was really nice, we normally go to pizza express and were surprised by the range of options. Only issue we ran into was the ordering via mobile rather than a person as it didn't seem to want to work but the waiter happily did it for us on his tablet. 9 year old daughter has asked that we go again when we're next somewhere with an Ask. Thanks. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free (non-gluten) pizza and pasta options available as well as vegan cheeses and gelatos. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options, our daughter loved the pasta dish and the bread sticks woth tomato dipping sauce. Wheelchair accessibility: Lift from car parking to entrance, and all flat with large doors."

"We've been with this ASK a few times and every time was a great experience. I came with a meat eater, but we shared the vegan sides (Garlic bread, side salad and roast potatoes) and I had the spaghetti al pomodoro without the mozzarella, which was lovely. We also shared the blood orange and chocolate cake. We're definitely coming back."

"I've never walked out of a restaurant before, and I've been to quite a few! Unfortunately, the food was terrible; there was no option for the pasta I wanted, not even the ones listed on the menu. When my meal finally arrived, it was cold, and all dishes had the same pasta with barely any sauce. I sent it back, but it came back microwaved, causing whatever sauce was there to vanish completely! We apologized to the wonderfully attentive staff, who truly tried to help, and then we decided to leave. Now, we're dining somewhere else and feeling relieved we did! Service: Dine in"

"On arriving at Ask on 30th December, the staff had no record of my online booking even though I followed up with a phone call ahead of the day to confirm a high chair was required. My friends and I found the staff unsympathetic to our predicament and made us feel like the error was our fault rather than OpenTable or Ask. Even an apology at the time would have softened our disappointment but instead the staff seemed rude and unfriendly. There was no space to accommodate us for lunch even though I had made a booking so we were forced to leave in the hope that we could find somewhere to eat. Thankfully Prezzo in Marlborough managed to find us a table and we were really impressed by the friendly and accommodating staff. A sharp contrast to our experience with the staff at Ask. We had travelled some distance to meet in Marlborough for a birthday lunch and sadly we left Ask frustrated at the lack of friendly reception at the restaurant. Due to this unacceptable experience, I will not be using Open Table again for any bookings and we will not be returning to Ask in Marlborough."

"OpenTable booking wasn 't on system but manager was very accommodating which was appreciated. Due to being so busy service was very slow at the start but a little rushed later on. Waiter 's seemed overworked and didn 't come back to ask how we were. Food tasted nice but my Fiancé 's aubergine dish was very small. Salad was very small and poorly prepared. No dressing. Starter platter was really nice. I don 't like giving poor reviews but the staff just seemed under prepared and over worked."

"Amazing Views Ask Italian is situated on the harbourside in Scarborough. Our table was on the first floor looking out across the boats in the harbour. Definitely one of the nicest views in Scarborough. As always the lentil ragu was delicious along with the olive and rosemary bread. The waitress was cheerful and attentive. The only thing that let the restaurant down was its dessert menu, each option had one too many ingredients making them overly fussy and therefore unappealing. So we went across the road to the harbour bar for dessert."

"Visited here without prebooking and were greeted by helpful staff and seated straight away. Staff were all pleasant and orders arrived promptly. The premises were a little noisy, with the sound of other diners seeming to echo, which made it a little difficult to hear what the staff were saying when taking orders. Food was lovely and well presented. My only issue was the portion size for the price paid. The sides were fine, but I felt the mains would have been better with a bit more of the vegetables accompanying the fish. We also ordered a pizza, which was a reasonable size, just a little bit more than I would expect to pay. We enjoyed the food, just would have liked a little more! Maybe it is a ploy to make sure you have room left for desserts, but spending over £50 for 2 people for a drink, side and main each was enough of a treat."

"beautiful meal with my now engaged on Tuesday night. I had calamari for beginners and I must say the best calamari I had ever had in a restaurant nice and tender and a nice crispy teig, had a sleek chicken breast for pornstars that was beautiful and tender and dessert was also the best dessert I had in a restaurant that was the chocolate etna very tasty, they also served my favorite wine prosecco. the employees were very friendly and efficient and helped me also with my now engaged with his suggestion."

"Previously booked as it was a Friday night in oxford before Christmas, the restaurant could not find our booking. but after they showed them the booking on the phone, they could get us quickly and without watching a table, although the restaurant was very busy. "When we arrived, we were quickly welcomed and given the option to choose where we wanted to sit, which is not something all restaurants do. The service was top-notch and the staff were friendly. The menu offers a variety of appetizers and main dishes. We shared a delicious folded cheese bread with onions as a starter, followed by a pizza that was surprisingly small for a "larger" size, along with some chips. Our favorite part of the experience was the versatile layout of the restaurant, with two floors accommodating both smaller parties and larger groups."

"The bruschetta wasn't the best I've had but it was alright. The folded garlic bread with mozzarisella was by far the best thing we had! The lecca lecca (THIS isn't chicken goujons) we're half the size of what they look like on the photo but very tasty. The pizza wasn't spicy at all in my opinion (but I do like alot spice so could just be me). The staff was friendly and even made suggestion and advised what could be made vegan. #Veganuary"
