"Einladung ins Akropolis in Barsinghausen. Wir haben die etwas längere Anreise nicht bereut(Hannover/Bothfeld). Erwähne ich nur,da ich bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen bin. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt absolut. Die Speisen waren so lecker, und, auch kaum zu schaffen. Die Speisen sind üppig, aber nicht Masse statt Klasse, sondern um gekehrt. Auch zu empfehlen, der Zaziki, haben wir nicht einmal zu zweit geschafft, leider. Es gab auch eine sehr gute Auswahl am Salatbuffet . Der Service ist freundlich, auch bei einigen kleinen "Sonderwünschen "obwohl das Restaurant an einem Dienstag , sehr gut besucht war. Lieber einen Tisch bestellen. "Geschmackvolle moderne Einrichtung, man sitzt gut, wenn man nicht gerade neben die Eingangstür platziert wird. Das A.G. war delikat. Das Carpaccio vom Thunfisch mit Olivenöl und Algen war asiatisch angehaucht und sehr gut. Die Selleriesuppe mit Wintertrüffel war angenehm gewürzt und schön sämig, auch wenn man vom Trüffelaroma wenig gemerkt hat. Entweder die Trüffelscheibe war zu dünn, oder ...? Sehr gut in Konsistenz, Gargrad und Geschmack waren das Hirschfilet mit Polenta und das Iberico-Schwein, allerdings müsste der Koch sich trauen, mehr zu würzen. Glücklicher Weise standen Salzstreuer und Pfeffermühle auf dem Tisch. Die Crème brulee war ausgezeichnet, dünn und mit goldener Kruste, das Birneneis dazu fein und zart. Die Weinempfehlung, ein 2007er Cartagho aus Sizilien für 25 € war ausgezeichnet, wenn auch eine Alkoholbombe.Beim Service gibt es Verbesserungsbedarf. Obwohl unsere Reservierung eine Stunde vorher telefonisch bestätigt worden war, war kein Tisch reserviert. Die Speisenfolge der ersten drei Gänge war viel zu schnell, dafür haben wir fast eine dreiviertel Stunde aufs Dessert gewartet. Die Flasche Wein erschien nicht auf der Rechnung. Als ich darauf hingewiesen habe, wurde (natürlich) die Rechnung geändert, aber man hätte sich ja für die Ehrlichkeit des Gastes auch mit einem Wörtchen bedanken können. Und beim Gehen stand der Chef des Hauses 2 m neben uns, ohne von uns Notiz zu nehmen. Wie hieß es so schön in einer Restaurantkritik der F.a.S.: Etwas mehr Kommunikation wäre schön! Man hatte den Eindruck, dass der Gast mit dem Bezahlen der Rechnung seine Schuldigkeit getan hat. Der Gast kann gehen."

"We were hiking in the Deister (small hills located to the south of Hannover) and on the way back to Barsinghausen just interested to get something to eat. At first glance, this restaurant looks like a typical small restaurant in the woods ready to serve a small selection of basic food such as sausages or cutlet. The parking space was swampy due to the weather. The outside menu promised better dishes than initially expected. Also a number of parking cars motivated us (we actually didn't know the web page). We were really surprised. A nicely decorated winter garden, a fireplace in the main building, friendly personnel... and they asked us for a reservation. Luckily, they had a place for us and we were really happy with the dinner and the atmosphere (deer goulash, chicken breast scalloped with goat cheese, salat decorated with fruits, italian dessert). Try it :)"

"super service, very clean, very tasty buffet food, at which is very often refilled etc. in this restaurant you can invite with quiet certain guests and after that you are even the hero of the day, although the recognition for it is for the staff. here you are a real guest of the house! I am the one who thinks that no one can complain about the price-performance ratio. this restaurant really is a win for barsinghausen!"

"We've been coming since approx. 5 years always very much like to go to the palace in Barsinghausen, even if we need half an hour drive. The food tastes very good, the staff is unprecedentedly friendly and also meets special requests. I love the sheep cheese cream and the Zaziki is the best I've ever eaten. My friend is also very happy with the fish dishes and recommends them. What is particularly important for us is that the corona rules (only occupy every 2nd table or Keeping distance, disinfecting menus, etc. In this restaurant we feel very comfortable and safe. This makes it even more important to make reservations at an early stage, as there are only half tables/pubs. The menu is available on the website, but there are also 3 dishes that can be ordered daily. All in all, a clear recommendation for the palace, especially now in the Corona period."
