"my flatmate once picked up cakes from Black Apron and they were insanely delicious, which is why I met up with a friend at the cafe the other day. It's a modern but cozy place we were lucky enough to find space on the huge sofa with a huge choice of hot and cold drinks and most importantly cake!! lots of them vegan, some glutenfree, some raw, all labelled. cakes are all homemade and they usually change once they're gone even though I'm sure they have bestsellers that they keep available . upon others they offer: cupcakes, brownies, cinemons, cookies, mini banana cakes with creamcheese frosting and cheesecake. I had difficulties choosing between a berry cake and a raw chocolate cashew orange cake. I finally went with the second as the girl behind the counter pointed out it might work better with my hot chocolate. My friend had homemade Golden Milk : fresh turmeric, ginger and spices in oatmilk. super special. and tasty. Cake was 4 euro if I remember correctly. Not the cheapest, but regular price for vegan cakes as far as I know. drinks are average priced as well. Defnitely coming again! such a gem in a city like Hildesheim, where vegetarian vegan food is rare and, anyway, I'm a huge sucker for anything sweet :"

they have some vegan options, such as brot, banana bread and cheesecake. the taste is really good, but they come in small portions and the price is a little too high I think 3.50€ 4€ averaged. They also have some drinks, such as caffè, hot chocolate and ice cream; we have an icy and it was really expensive 4.20€ for just a glass. the place looks really good, clean, cozy and cozy.

Such a cozy place! The interior is lovely and it‘s a nice place to hang out on a Sunday. It‘s usually quite busy but we were always able to find a table or at least enough chairs for a group of three. They always have a small selection of vegan cakes available. Everything I‘ve tried so far was delicious, but the apple cake is my personal favourite. I usually get a fresh ginger tea when I‘m there, but they offer plant based milk too. Staff always friendly. Restroom available. We usually find parking in a nearby street.

"I am a British national about to get residency in the area following my wedding to a German woman this May . My honest opinion of the many German restaurants I have visited in this County and Germany as a whole, is...that whilst the food is often reasonable, service is not Germany's strength! However, I have visited the Kupferschmiede many times over the last years or so and this place is exceptional in every way! We use this restaurant for family occasions and large group occasions also and will be having our wedding reception there in a few months time! I have read many of the reviews and find that whilst most are star as this one is, there are sometimes people you cannot please! Some of the negative comments are ridiculous and should not been taken seriously when considering a booking! The setting is in itself unique positioned in the forest surrounded by a mini zoo! How could this been anything other than special! The building is typically German and is full of character and history! The inside is cosy and it has an super function room upstairs! The owner is a totally helpful and nice guy who runs a very well organised team of unusually helpful staff. Service is as good as it gets here! I have read that the menu is small and uninspiring... Well I would describe it as good business sense! The menu is typically German which is a good thing and has plenty of choice! Portion sizes are large and presentation good! Better to do a core menu extremely well than try and do too much badly! The place is often busy so book busy is the best sign that somewhere is good! This is the best restaurant for German food in the are by some way!!"
