Black Side Café in Flaine serves great coffee, tastefull crèpes and nice beers. Very friendly service.

I didn't understand. The setting is nice and the staff friendly, but then the food ... I didn't understand the praising comments

Great start to the day for breakfast or stop for lunch - always delicious and staff are friendly and informative about weather ski conditions etc.

We tried the momos (two types: mashed potatoes and spinach tofu) and the fried rice. The momos are very good and quite filling. The fried rice is less interesting.

eat them there at their new location in eaux vives or to go (we often take on the way from the work), it is our go-to option for a delicious and original meal if we do not feel like cooking

I love momos and dumplings in general. I was excited to see that they have a lovely terrace on a quiet street, but their momos were just...bland, especially the ones with spinach and tofu. I couldn't say they're not tasty, but they're not seasoned much, and not juicy.

Having visited Flaine a number of times we've hired equipment for skiset without any problems. However this time we decided to try somewhere new. The quality of equipment, value and service provided is excellent. They were very caring and worried about my son when he fell and scratched his chin. They even stored our boot and dried them over night. As we had a late flight, we could ski on the Saturday, asked if we could use the equipment and no issue. We regularly used the cafe, again second to none. Nothing ever a problem and always welcomed with a smile. We will definitely use them again.
