"While it may not be gourmet Indian cuisine, this restaurant offers cheap and fairly tasty options. The menu includes about 5 curry dishes, rice, nan bread, salads, pickles, and popadoms. I tried the chickpea and potato curry, vegetable curry, and tarka dal. The tarka dal was delicious, along with the pickles, nan bread, onion bhaji, and pakora. However, some of the dishes were sloppy and watery. Despite this, the korma dish was freshly made, even though it appeared watery when poured into the hot pot. If you're on a budget and looking for a decent meal, this restaurant is worth considering. We later discovered that it has a one-star hygiene rating, but the restaurant appeared clean and the toilets were well-maintained."

Called in for dinner on a visit to see our daughter. Good tasty food, really good value. Certainly better than a number of the reviews on here suggest.

The Bombay Aloo offers excellent Indian vegetarian and vegan food. The food has a good flavor and freshly prepared. The buffet has a good cost performance ratio. Unfortunately the service is a little bit unfriendly and the toilet is not very clean.

The value for money at this restaurant is fantastic. They offer a wide variety of options and being a vegan restaurant, it caters to all dietary preferences. Just a heads up, since it's Indian cuisine, be cautious of the spiciness levels unless you're feeling adventurous.

I have the buffet here and it's amazing value for money. So much food and all vegan now. You can come on your own as many people do or a group. Good atmos. The guys working here are attentive and in a good mood. All in all the best place for eat all you want in Brighton. Highly recommend.

Bombay Aloo is a compact 100% vegan Indian buffet right in the centre of Brighton and was just right for a quick, tasty and wholesome curry meal before a concert at the Dome. Why do people prefer to queue up in 'Big Multinational ' burger joints..... Very good value and a fair choice of dishes being a buffet you can try some of each.

This restaurant offers authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine that is vegan-friendly. The staff is very friendly and there is a happy atmosphere overall. The food is delicious and they offer a buffet service where you can eat as much as you want for under 7 pounds. They have a variety of dishes including large pakoras, at least four different curries, and options for naan and plain basmati rice. The beers are a bit expensive to pair with your meal, but if you're looking for a satisfying, affordable, and well-cooked Indian meal, this restaurant can't be beat.
