Bourne’s Belsize - Menu

We booked a table for 2 and we arrived we were told we only had an hour to eat and leave despite the booking app says it was for 1hr 30mins.

On my 5th visit Enjoyed a delightful lunch , with a dear friend , perfect light tasty lunch , every visit I taste something different , This visit the Sole Meuniere was just fine , Looking forward to the next .

Such a brilliant place for lunch or dinner. Small menu that changes all the time, small wine list too. Fresh seafood, cooked to perfection and super friendly and welcoming service. Also, very reasonably priced which is a big plus. View menu

Amazing food and fun, relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. We had a lovely meal in the new downstairs room and enjoyed 'special touches ' such as the chef coming to say hello and chatting with the owner when we left. Good luck to this new little gem. We will definitely be back.

impossible to give a review .we arrived to find the restaurant closed, we heard about 25 other guests dived in the night to find the same..so disappointed as we over highgate...we know that dinge change in open and around, but the restaurant and open table had my cell and email, why not contact customers so zero to both companies View menu

Decided to try here with my partner to kick off our NYE plans and have a nice dinner. We received a text message on the morning of our reservation stating that the event would be canapés champagne rather than dinner but after a phone call with staff they reassured me that there would be plenty of food on offer for the evening. Although the food was good, the portion control was a challenge. For the money we would have expected more food and a much smoother service. The canape service was sporadic and unfortunately we were still hungry when we left!

We really wanted to like this experience. The guys running it are really friendly and know their fish. Still, it was not a good experience. The place was crowded and loud when we arrived and the one server was overwhelmed. Seating is not very comfortable. On a previous day we had stopped in to buy some fish and asked if we could order tapas-style but when we arrived that had changed and we were told we had to order everything at once. Almost an hour later later we received or order. Fish portions are astonishingly small. Hard to catch the server's eye for anything after we were served.

The food is good, but all the rest NO. We have been waiting almost an hour to get the starters (ok it was Sat night but you should get as many bookings as you can deal with, not more than that . Mostly important, there was a HAIR in our dessert, when we pointed it out to the waitress she only said “oh ok I am sorry” (and they took the dessert out of our bill . This tells a lot about their hygienic conditions. Out 3 croquettes as a starter, one was completely empty (not joking, only bread outside! .
