"The food is good, but all the rest NO. We have been waiting almost an hour to get the starters (ok it was Sat night but you should get as many bookings as you can deal with, not more than that). Mostly important, there was a HAIR in our dessert, when we pointed it out to the waitress she only said “oh ok I am sorry” (and they took the dessert out of our bill). This tells a lot about their hygienic conditions. Out croquettes as a starter, one was completely empty (not joking, only bread outside When we showed the waitress she brought (after nearly mins) but this should not happen for the price you pay. The mains were ok, but you can’t pay for a small fillet of seabream with some mashed potato, served in a dessert dish. The bill was absolutely too high, and definitely not ok for the very bad service we had. Surely not going back."

impossible to give a review .we arrived to find the restaurant closed, we heard that the guests in the night stop to find the same..so disappointed when we traveled from highgate..we know that the dings change in open and umstanden, but the restaurant and opentable had my cell and email, why not contact customers so zero for both companies

A group of girls out for food. The food is EPIC!! Staff so friendly. Don’t expect posh as during the day they sell the seafood and fish. Just stunning food to have. And no it doesn’t smell of fish in the evening. What a delight. Had so much fun noshing down amazing food with wine and fizz. Be warned! The Mac n cheese, you will want more!!! Love. Will be back again. Chilled food heaven!!

It is impossible to write a review as we arrived at the restaurant to find it closed. We heard that about 25 other guests also arrived during the night to find it closed. We were so disappointed as we rushed over from Highgate. We understand that things may happen unexpectedly and circumstances can change, but the fact that the restaurant and OpenTable had our contact information makes it even more frustrating. Both companies receive a zero rating from us.

This was our second visit to Bourne's and we will definitely return. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection, the service is excellent, and the overall value for money is fantastic. The limited menu makes it easier to choose and ensures that each dish is well-prepared and presented. The only downside is the limited space, which may require some diners to stand up during their meal to make more room for others. However, this minor inconvenience is easily overlooked when the food and wine are so enjoyable.
