"Very disappointed. We had a birthday party there. Where we arrived (14 people) the staff came to us, and told us that new guests will come to our table at 13:00 and we should be ready until then. There were two hours we had. The tables were also very poor as we only got 2 really small tables for 14 people. (We've reserved 5 weeks ago) It was really very close. The next negative point is the duration of the food preparation. When we ordered, some people had their lunch after 15 minutes. Other people like me had to wait an hour for their food. Where our food came, many people were already ready to eat. For 30 people it may happen that food lasts longer, but 14 people should actually be able to bring the food to the table at the same time. The food was OK, only the hosting was inviolable, as he was watery and after nothing tasted. The pork roast was highly recommended. But all of my family were very disappointed this evening. That's a shame because Hummel never disappointed us...."

Uriger fränkischer Gasthof mit extrem leckeren Speisen und einer unfassbaren Bierauswahl vom Fass und aus der Flasche. Dazu sehr moderate Preise, verglichen mit anderen Möchtegern-Hype-Häusern. Absolute Empfehlung!

It's even worth the journey from Nuremberg, a buttery cream-roasted veal with 2 decent dumplings and a well-seasoned savoy cabbage at an unbeatable price of 14.90! The service is friendly and with an infectiously good mood, and all the guests seem relaxed and happy, perhaps because of the delicious beer?
