"I recently visited this restaurant with some friends who are omnivores and opted for the vegan set menu. I was genuinely impressed by both the quantity and quality of the food. The portion was comparable to the omnivore platters, and it was clear that each dish was thoughtfully prepared with attention to presentation and flavor. Some standout dishes for me included a delicious mushroom and tomato salad, a flavorful beetroot salad, and a chargrilled skewer featuring vegan chorizo and a variety of vegetables. I truly felt like I received great value for my money, and the vegan options didn't feel like an afterthought like they often do at other places!"

"the excellent reviews were accurate. my wife and I had dinner here to celebrate her birthday last week and we had an excellent meal. the quality of eating was delicious and the presentation made for a special meal. the service was also attentive and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. we visit dundee a few times a year and will definitely be back. we both commented how nice it would be if we had collinsons in front of our doorstep. many thanks for a beautiful meal!"

"We stopped at this restaurant on our way back from a trip to Carnoustie to pick up some takeaway pies for dinner at home. The pies we had, bhuna and macaroni cheese with pickles, were delicious. While a bit pricey, we appreciated that they use homemade products and quality ingredients. The rest of the menu also looked promising. The restaurant is in an unusual location, but it is simple both inside and out. It may be small, but it is very clean and tidy. We were served promptly, but had to wait 15 minutes for our takeaway coffee, which felt like a long time. Unfortunately, there were no vegan options available for one of the people in our group, which was disappointing as he couldn't eat alongside his family. It's hard to gauge the demand for vegan food. Overall, I don't think it's worth traveling from Glasgow specifically for this restaurant, but it's a good choice if you happen to be passing by."

"absolutely one of the best dinners we had all year round. excellent in every look, but above all the taste profiles of each plate. they could make a reservation or plan to have a pint down before they dinner. taste the cullen skink (in the states that we call this fish case) and the seafood pie two of the best I have ever eaten and I am over 60 years old and reasonably priced considering that we could not eat all our dinners with just a common skink and our own evening. we have taken home enough for another dinner. the house wine was also cheap and great."
