"We always love coming here! The food is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful. I've noticed that when it's busy, the service can be a bit slower than usual, which might lead some people to leave negative reviews. However, I've never had any issues with the staff or the meals, and we've dined in various areas, including the play area, which we often use because of my little girl. I'm happy to give this place a 5-star review and highly recommend visiting, especially during the day to take advantage of the 2 meals for £8.99 deal, along with refillable soft drinks for under £3. It’s also beneficial to sign up for their emails to receive other offers, like a free bottle of wine!"

I am thrilled to give Stable Gate a 5* for their service, and delicious food. My husband and I had the light lunch menu yesterday 8th June . I had the Mexican chilli and my husband had the South western burger and starters consisting of garlic breaded mushrooms and potato skins DELICIOUS ! Highly recommend

The food is nice and reasonably priced. The play area is great the kids love it they have screens showing the play area so you can keep an eye on the kids from your table. The staff are very polite and helpful and the rewards club is worth signing up for as they give you codes for free meals or free drinks quite regularly

where do I start? our daughter has food allergies and the staff not only bent to help but came by, sat down with us to discuss possibilities to improve the already good work they did. separate freeze and food preparation areas. prepared to protect against it cross-contamination. stuart, I praise you and your entire staff. thanks for a wonderful stay.

I've given 4 stars for an eatery of this type. By which I mean pub food, not home cooked pub food. These aren't Michelin stars. The food was good and hot and was very well presented. A bit of a wait for some of the main meals but this was explained as because they'd had starters. I'd go back as it's a lot better than it was a few years ago. Well done.

The first thing I say is that the staff at this bar are really great, the food is better than you would expect in these types of chain pubs. Great quality and a good selection of wines and beers at a reasonable price. Can be a little loud if sat in the family section near the childrens play area. If you’ve not been to a Brewers Fayre make sure you get a bonus card as they are always sending you discount vouchers for money off meals, free meals or deserts and even a free bottle of wine.

Had family Birthday meal here , 11 adults 5 children. Service was great , all starters came at same time, asdid main meals , food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meals. The young slim man with beard (sorry didn’t get his name) who served us did everything he could to help us. Provided cutlery and plates for Birthday cake and was really polite and helpful. Would I recommend it? Yes! Top marks . Thankyou to all staff and chef who came out to help us cut the rather large cake , and waitress who kindly took our group photos .

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
