Terracina's historic pub that has also become a restaurant with excellent results. I really liked this news. Excellent appetizers like the first ones that are abundant and well seasoned. The beers always top but I already knew them having spent an entire teens. Great service too, very kind and fast girls. Next time you'll try fish. Recommended!

You eat well, the place is quiet and is close to the center. I have noticed more than once, however, that they serve beers with a lot of foam by dropping the level of concrete beer below the one marked by the glass (as from photo attached). But I'm sure they'll run away: they'll use non-leveled glasses and glasses : D We customers pay you everything, even beer. Be correct! View menu

Found almost by chance... With immense pleasure I discovered that you pay €8 and you can eat everything they propose on the buffet.. In unlimited quantities... More than good food, both cooking and dressing... Apart from paying drinks and some fish fried dishes rightly... Congratulations for this really great idea 5 stars deserved quality price and this time also perfect quantity

We decide to have dinner here with a group of friends, slow service, maybe only two waiters aren't enough? And different dishes from as described on the menu. If in the menu there is written focaccia you can not present the sandwich with on the sesame seeds, to understand. Beer for nothing fresh, but still all in all good. Glass of the dirty grappa definitely of water drops of the dishwasher, but it is added to the further views. The only good thing was meat in the sandwich, cooked really well and tasty. For the rest, no comment.

"This is one of the 4 restaurants we had a pleasure to dine at during our stay in Terracina (a small seaside town south of Rome . Il Caminetto is a somewhat posh place, which is visible in the service staff being more reserved than one would expect from an Italian place. They 're helpful and polite, yet not openly friendly or outspoken. The restaurant is housed in a nice building near one of main squares of the town and is very nicely decorated. Simple, pleasant coulours, few ornaments, comfortable chairs. The main dining room is big enough to ensure a bit of privacy for the guests. Food is offered from a fixed as well as a daily menu. The restaurant also has a pre-defined meal sets clearly targeted at unaware tourists. I strongly advise to avoid these sets, and select your courses from the daily menu. You get the freshest sea food and fish. And you also earn some respect points with the service staff (always a good thing.... . We had simple starters (mozarella with ham, tomatoes and rocket salad, our favourite Italian classic and fish: sole (cooked whole and filetted afterwards for us and another sea fish, whose name we are unaware. All food was superb! Very well cooked, nicely presented, without any unnecessary extras or side dishes (of course you can have them if you wish . And then there was wine. Il Caminetto is called 'Enoteca ', which stands for a 'wine bar '. And as the name suggests, the choice of wines is very satisfying! Prices are reasonable. Our choices, including wine and a desert, cost us exactly the same as the 'tourist menus ' would. In all, this place is a highly recommendable one. It checks all the important boxes."
