"we had expected a lot, but it is not as great as expected. We had not reserved and it was only free in the smoker area, we thought there was not much going on and that's why it won't be so bad. (we are both not smokers) it was a big mistake, because there were still some guests and they smoked as if the next day smoking was banned worldwide. if they are not smoker, please do not make the same mistake. The personal is very friendly, accommodating and competent. Now we come to the main, eat. as an appetizer, I had a sparing mousse with port wine melon balls, which was just excellent. my wife had a asparagus cream soup, which was very watery and probably is beaten by everyone soup. to the main course I had a twirl roast medium and my wife filet from the dorade. for the wobble roast, the cook should be ashamed, the meat was tender, but by no means medium, it was then already rather fried to dry, but the wobble medium and soaky, the sauce was not hearty but rather sweet. the chef probably confused something here, I always thought the whistle should be medium and the whistles rather fried. the filet of the dorade was very good, there was nothing to expose. now that comes dessert, I had a rhabarberpannacotta with strawberry, that was very delicious. my wife had a chocolate cream brúlee, wasn't that the hit, a finished pudding would have been better.Who now thinks why they didn't complain: we wanted to get out as soon as possible, because they try to stop it as a non-smoking one room with cigarette-eating chains longer, that's a punishment.I find the price-performance ratio here is not true."

the restaurant sprays a scary from the 70s, but it is still pleasant. eating was excellent and for that the price is correct and appropriate. the location of the hotel restaurant is directly on the bundesstrasse and not necessarily suitable for families. I can recommend the location.

the old walls are authentic - the rest is not. easy to love - with a fast road as background music. The angus steak tasteless and tough the pommes a lot but dry, the wobbles hard and tasted after ranciful standing fat. the operation questionable but completely incompetent and helpless.

The hotel is fine. Not updated, but clean and friendly staff. Internet works well, but they limit the number of devices. Big drawback: the hotel is right next to the highway. Not pleasant at all if you're in your room with the windows open in the summertime because there's no A/C. Will likely not stay here again for this reason alone.

Great day outdoor seating and a fresh breeze. Wait staff was super helpful and spoke English. Ordered the venison which was served over root vegetables with a subtle raspberry/yogurt flavor over the meat gravy. the meal included some waffled potatoes and fresh home-made bread. Washed down with a local weiess beer and the result was astounding.

we were eating with the family there and having a birthday. but I must say unfortunately that the relatiw few guests were there, it went very long from the order until that food came. The children got their food quite fast. What is a plus point for me!!!The eating itself was good to very good. I'm sure we'll come back in the hope that'll be a little faster next time.

the brielhof is certainly not among the cheap restaurants in the region but the ambiente is beautiful, the staff very friendly and helpful and the dishes we had ordered were very delicious. the menu is very rich and everyone can find something for themselves (soak, bark, lamb, wings, wild specialties from the region, vegetarian dishes,.) salat and vegetables were fresh. the portions sufficient that hungry are also fed. we can recommend the restaurant.

Hotel was located at the base of hill that Schloss Hohenstollern was located on, and you get an impressive view of the castle from the hotel parking lot. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, but a bit too modern for my tastes. Hotel has been expanded from the original structure, so you don't have that rustic, German feel throughout the building. Checking in and out was easy. Wifi was included. We had a double and single room. Both had bathroom attached, and double room also had a balcony. Hotel located along a busy bundesstrasse (highway) but room was surprisingly quiet. After a long drive and the afternoon spent at the castle we decided to eat at the restaurant at the hotel. Food was reall...

"I would like to say in the front: the journey is worthwhile, even though Hechingen-Beuren is a bit far from the shot. The area is suitable for hikers, but in winter the area is quite clear. The Jockele deserves a lot of bonus points, including for the loving interior. Even in January we can marvel at a wonderful decoration of branches, natural elements, Christmas balls, colorful textiles, etc. Something bigger people are inevitably coming into contact with them at their table. And on the way to the toilet there is a huge basket with magazines to take away (Kochmagazine, Jamies Hauszeitschrift, Tier- und Pflanzenkunde). In addition to the main guest room with 7-8 very nicely covered tables (selected tablecloths with matching central ceilings, a spacious space is available for groups and celebrations. Children like to see, dogs too. We were a guest on Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. The host seemed a bit amazed at our visit, because only a 5-headed, probably local family was left in the restaurant. However, the service was warm, honest and unattended. The map is manageable, but very special: here it is thought and traded ecologically and regionally. And, of course, completely freshly cooked. In addition to soft drinks, beer and wine, the homemade lemonade is to be mentioned. We chose the taste of Zwetschge (authenticly pleasant, but it also attract pear, peppermint and glowing wine (alcohol-free . 0.5 liters cost 3 euros). The mineral water (also 0.5 litre is served in the bottle and can be taken either quietly or medium (3.20 euros). If you want a digestif after eating, you will not find it on the card, but you should ask for the service. In addition to numerous regional delicacies, I recommend a very spicy nutschnaps (dark, aromatic, somewhat reminiscent of hunter masters. In the kitchen, Joachim Hermann resides, who goes to the 70, but as a marathon runner and sportsman still quite fit. He used to run the “Tübinger Jockele” in Tübingen. It cooks sensationally good and authentic and groundy. And of course fresh. The service also draws attention to possible supplement changes. Instead of the homemade organic spetlets from the rare single-grain flour (more proteins and carotinoides as wheat are also recommended to the noodles from their own production – or the jockele potatoes (a kind of wild potato cracks with a bowl on them). It was perfectly delicate and good hanging. Unfortunately, the mixed vegetables from carrots, broccoli and green beans served were cold. Price: 17 Euro. The cheese parrots are made from single-grain flour and come very petitely. The hit is the undersized beard liquor (nearly garlic and crippled, not too oily! . The salad could have come from my mother: where else will the carrots be blanched and cut into ackurate slices? In my opinion, no vinegar was used for dressing, but lemon juice. Very individual and unique, the entire arrangement! Price: 12.90 Euro. In summer, the spacious terrace with Hohenzollern view would attract. In addition, the young chef Maxi always offers musical events. Also a Christmas market with self-made was announced last Advent. Speaking of self-made: the invoice is not yet created electronically, but is written by hand."
