"16 September 2017 We were invited to a party on the 16 September where the mobile pizzeria van turned up to feed the party goers. They set up on the drive and began to create a range of delicious pizzas. The lady made the dough and added the various toppings and the man managed the cooking of them in the pizza oven. A young waitress was on hand to make sure the table was clean and everything nicely presented. The people running the van were very friendly and the van looked spotless. The pizza base was thin and beautifilly crisp and the toppings were plentiful and varied. Plently of choice and Villaggio Pizza will will cater for vegans, veggies, meat lovers and other dietry requirements if given enough notice. We took a pizza home and reheated it the next day as advised on the box and it was just as delicious reheated as it had been freshly prepared. This mobile pizza van is perfect for wedding, parties and events and definately worth considering if having a party or public event."

Prawns with chilli and garlic- couldn’t taste chilli or garlic. Their speciality thin based pizza was entirely soggy and based not entirely cooked.

I haven’t been to a pizza express in a long time so very glad to have had such a lovely meal! The waitress was great too, especially with the dish recommendations.

Fast and friendly service on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Food arrived quickly, good flavours. Manager checked everything was OK, used app to pay, family friendly with 2 young kids, would definitely come again

Pizza Express is a typical chain restaurant. Some locations are good, while others are not. However, the one I visited was one of the best. The pizzas were tasty and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return when I am in the mood for pizza.

Well, we only gave it two stars as most of the food was ok.... As for service, one star all day long. Rude, uninterested staff makes for an unpleasant experience. We have eaten in lots of other Pizza Express over the years and always found service to be great. Not sure who is training this lot, or perhaps there is no training at this particular restaurant.

We arrived at the restaurant and placed our drink and food orders within 10 minutes. The drinks arrived promptly, but after waiting for 40 minutes, we were informed that our pizzas were just being put in the oven. It was obvious that the waiter had forgotten to submit our food order. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our order and leave slightly hungry and disappointed.

Learned a lesson, come here first!! Served within minutes, enjoyed cold beer whilst pizza calzone ordered. Excellent goats cheese pizza, friendly, attentive staff. Arrived at booked cinema on time, fed . Mistake was going Prezzo’s next door first, waited 20 mins, ignored, no drink or food offered, unable to attract staff attention, tables served before us/arrived after. Up n left . No wonder they’re struggling and closing outlets.

Took my American fiancée to her first Pizza Express. The experience was terrible from beginning to end. The host, named 'Simon', was rude and ordered us to move behind other customers, ushering us into a cold doorway. He justified his behavior by saying it was busy. The waiter service was also lacking - they didn't offer us drink refills or check on our meals. After we finished eating, we had to wait a long time to pay, even putting on our coats before finally flagging down our waiter who had ignored us.
