We went to Candle Light Diner last night and were super satisfied. Food was very good and rich. The service Jasmin was very friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

The food was a katrastrofe.The salad consisted of counted iceberg leaves,2 cucumbers and a quarter of tomato without dressing.My wife had a senior dish for 19,90 €.The piece of meat has about 50 grams.A naughty.

We were after a long time as couple, once again in the Burgfreund and were pleasantly surprised. All very delicious and the Cevapcici and rice were really great. The waitress was very friendly. We'll be back with certainty.

Restaurant in a beautiful location in front of the ruin of the castle Altendorf above the nearby Ruhr. You sit comfortably on a large outdoor terrace. Kitchen is well civic, the service attentive and friendly, small requests for change are happy to be met. Price/performance is really good.

Been to Burgfreund last week for the second time. It was worth it, the good impression of the first time has not only been confirmed, but the more solidified. Very nice operation. We had Rumpsteak and Pola Pola. Both excellent. And the pepper sauce to the Rumpsteak was definitely Champions League. Will definitely come back to the next Hattingen visit. Happy!

We stayed with a Groupon voucher on Saturday, 17.09.22. The salad was okay. It was. The carving was rather small and very thin (0.5cm) had no connection to the panade. The sauce gypsy type was ok but the paprika was cut in rectangles about 6x3CM. Tastefully naja. The highlight was the dessert. An ice cream with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Nach vielen Jahren der Abstinenz besuchten wir mit der gesamten Familie dieses Restaurant. Alle 7 (4 Erw. u 4 Kinder ) waren sehr zufrieden. Das Lokal ist etwas altbacken möbliert. Aber, deshalb geht man nicht hin. Es ist sauber, nicht eng und das Personal ist sehr gastfreundlich. Flott wurden wir mit Karten und Getränkefragen betreut. Die Getränke kamen flott. Der Wein (Chablis) war von guter Qualität. Auf der umfangreichen Karte, zum Teil Balkangerichte, fanden wir rasch Gerichte, die uns zusagten. Die Portionen sind sehr groß. Die Kinder freuten sich über reichlich Ketchup und Mayo. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Fazit: Ein weiteres Lokal auf unserer Liste besuchenswerter Häuser.
