"Conclusion: Recommended hotel restaurant with huge herbs and vegetable garden, as a result fresh and regional products are recommended. Location: Located directly on the connecting road from Pfronten to Eisenberg, this hotel has its own free parking. To get to the terrace and to the restaurant, however, some stairs must be handled. The occasion: after Corona and some additional adversities it was once again time to go with good acquaintances. For a long time we wanted to visit the bear and so we were happy to do this on a Wednesday. Because it was in the middle of the week I believed without tel. Reservation with 4 persons can be found. When we arrived shortly before 13:00 we were very surprised how full it was. Before the restaurant entrance there was a desk with the request to wait until a place is assigned by the service and the contact address is listed. All adhered to the rules and were equipped with MNS and held the distances. The ambience: The bear is a traditional place that, like so often in our area, has emerged from agriculture. The whole building comes somewhat rustic, but fits into the landscape. However, the special is the “herbal garden” of the sheer invisible size. In addition to the herbs – also in a huge (beachable) herbal spiral – countless tomato varieties are also drawn and cultivated in a separate greenhouse. The seating on the terrace is somewhat different, but this is probably due to Corona. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the Breitenberg. The menu: is clearly structured and contains, in addition to some international dishes, mainly regional offers, of course also special dishes from the herbal garden and own lemonades whose syrup (as well as herbs) can also be purchased commercially. The service: the service personnel are very friendly and accommodating. Despite the many guests, they acted very quickly and quickly without hectic. Drinks: we ordered two dkl. Wheat at 3,90 € each, a soft wheat at 4,10 € and a pils (from the barrel) at 3,50 €. The beverages were delivered quickly and properly tempered. The prices for our area are already in the upper range, but still tolerable. The food: here we decided for Sapphire mussels at 11,50 € which were very well roasted with clear roast traces and beautifully glazed inside. They were served in a scallop shell on a puree and salads, perfect. The fishermen's salad, which was still ordered at €15.80, apparently caused difficulties in the kitchen, because it came quite time-settled as last to the table and the salads looked a bit cloudy and the salmon was quite through while the other fish were good and okay. Various fried vegetables completed the plate, which was tastefully very good. Furthermore, there was a pork roast with dumplings and herb at €14.50, which was served with a bright sauce, here something unusual but quite fine. Meat tender and juicy. The last one is a carving of pig with pommes at 14,50 €. The pommes good standard, crispy and hot beautiful tan, unfortunately with this unspeakable ketchup bag on the plate. Either serve separately or not at all if a guest wishes to have it, he can order it. The Schnitzel itself without fault and tadel beautiful souffed breakdown, juicy and hot. Cleanliness: from no occasion to criticize, the tables were cleaned and wiped after each guest. Otherwise everything is very tidy and clean. The toilets were not visited, so no rating."

This place is incredible. It's in the deepest part of Bavaria I'd ever been to with the crazy beautiful green rolling hills and equally beautiful cows...

This place not only has a beautiful garden, but also the most delicious food. Homemade, mouthwatering lemonade, herbs from their own garden make their give the offered meals a special zing! Moderate prices with a beautiful view onto the Allgäu Alps.

"in advance: the Pizzeria-Osteria in the appartementhotel seespitz offers besides the typical Italian styles also Sardinian and international foods. from the terrace they have a fantastic view over the white lake in the allgäu mountains. the name osteria (where wee and smaller feeds are actually not chosen correctly, better would the extensive menu offer something for everyone. antipasti, pasta, meat, fish, pizzen, dessert, what the heart desires in an Italian. the location: this is located directly on b 310 from pfronten to feet on the west side above the white lake. for the guests of the hotel there is a deep garage, for the guests of the restaurants some free parking at the house. the accesses are flat and disabled. road side of the estate: in a wonderful weather we wanted to round the white sea and then eat nice and cozy at lunch. on the north side of the lake there are very beautiful, wide hiking trails that are also used by cyclists. here they can also run with simple shoes. the south side is already a bit more demanding, but also a bit more challenging. here is recommended to use some better shoes. the total number of 6.2 km can be handled conveniently in 90 to 120 minutes. important because the osteria has closed from 14:00 to 18:00! the environment: the natives are bright and friendly, modern furnishings. bright wood furniture gives a cozy impression, the alpine character that we underlined by a beautiful, bright wood ceiling. the tables are covered with fabric tablecloths and everything looks very appealing. the menu: besides the classic Italian cuisine, such as antipasti, pasta, salat, pizza, meat and fish dishes are also dishes from the Sardinian home of the host family carducci in the offer. at the first moment the prices appear slightly raised, but in the consideration of the proportion and quality it is again relativized. the service: although superficial friendly (typical Italian last, but fast and attentive. the only manko is that unneeded objects are not removed. when we came and looked for a table on the terrace, no table was released yet, although only three tables were occupied. we were immediately brought the cards (it was already 13:00 a.m. and at 14:00 a.m. will be closed! and the drink order will be recorded. overall everything went very fast. terrace the drinks: besides the beer of the paulan brewery also German and Italian wines are offered. the very well cooled weizen at 3,10 € came very fast. surprisingly 1 liter pellegrino at 4,90 €! also the espresso with 2,10 € were not only good of the price, but also qualitatiw. eating: as an appetizer a bruschetta speziale was ordered in the usual insides to €9,40 no bruschetta, but actually a small pizza with many fresh, seasoned tomatoes. at the order we mentioned that we wanted to eat this (the big ones to four and so came with the bruschetta four small tellers. very attentive! there was a conchiglioni at €13.40, filled with Mediterranean vegetables, very hot, because baked, but also very good. a (small pizza seespitz to 9,40 € actually a pizzasalami with mais and peperoni (the “Güllekugeln” were set for small but already very big! the edge beautifully high and crispy the pizza itself very thin and crispy, inspiring. the antipasti casa at 11,90 € very plentiful with the usual ingredients but not of the usual finished product glasses, commendable. then the piccata milanese at 22,50 €, upps, the price, but as served everything was ok again. a huge calf carving with a thick cheese – a panade, a part spaghetti with tomato sauce and a mixed salad. in order! after the payment we were still offered a digestion offer for the house, grappa or color or limoncello. we decided to choose the limoncello offered in the allgäu bakery as a crema di limoncello and here as the a little sweet original was served. cleanliness: we could notice the passage through the locals. that everything seemed pretty clean and probably too. on the terrace everything was best, only the oriental sunshade over the hippo sculptures seemed a little strange. nilhorses with oriental parachute the toilets: were not visited, therefore no statement possible."
