Lovely location to rest and get a quick cup of coffee. The service was excellent and the drinks good and reasonably priced.

This cafe with both in- and outside seating is located on a small square behind the cathedral. Good ambiance and pretty buildings around. Nice location and helpful staff. Not expensive.

Very fast service, pleasant waitresses and waiters, very good drinks. On the other hand, hearing the manager yell at her employees in an audible manner for all the customers dampened the mood a lot. Change your methods. View menu

Very pleasant places, tasteful cuisine and impeccable service, however the atmosphere is marred by an eater shouting at the employers without embarrassment. To err is human and that is no reason to be disrespectful to your staff.

I had a great time with friends drinking etc but...small downside (which spoiled the atmosphere a bit) was the manager. She allowed herself to speak badly to her staff which made me very sad because the little one in question seemed new and quite young....

Popped in for a quick coffee - went upstairs as it was a rainy day. Lovely light room. Music a little too loud. Both our coffees were very good. I like the fact that you get a biscuit, a cocoa covered almond and a glass of water. Quick service. Nothing to dislike. View menu

My visit to Brive is not complete unless I have a coffee at Bogota. Their coffees are the best and the variety is extensive, although my favourite is the Jamaican Good friendly service and in winter there is a cosy room upstairs to chill with your coffee, and the complimentary biscuit and chocolate bean. In summer its lovely to sit outside in the sunny courtyard.

When I simply want a coffee, there's not a better stop in Brive. Bogota's coffees and teas are great quality. The décor is exotic but welcoming, and the employees are kind and helpful. You won't find lattes or hipster brewing techniques (though many pricey coffee apparatuses can be bought there), but will find good coffee. I recommend the Moka Java for something tasty sur place. Because they make only drinks (and gauffres), they don't mind at all if you bring in a pastry with you for petit-déjuner.

very pleasant coffee in a city that doesn't matter. The service is adorable, the very gourmet drinks. the room upstairs is very comfortable to a detail: the sound background. The volume is not very high, but every time I go, we have to wear nrj with guys who scream coarsely without interest interspersed with other guys who shout advertisements every ten minutes, with each day the same music tubes we hear on all channels. In short, this coffee has only to change radio, to put fip (good music, no pub, no blabla), and it will be perfect! View menu
