Cafe Botanico - Menu

Since my first (serious) contribution by Yelp has been mistakenly filtered out again: Café ́Botanico is a real secret tip in Richardkiez, very tasty and healthy food and the garden is of course the i-tap. Well, let's see if I can get it through the filter this time.

We haven't been there for a long time and we were very happy with the food again. Salad from garden deer herbs, burrata and wonderful risotto of the day and cake. Only the service was muffy and the drinks prices are too high for quality (the wine choir was nothing at all).

The Richardplatz is pretty, but when you climb into the Souterrain in the Richardstraße 100 you enter a small, very private café restaurant that takes its herbs from the Hofgarten. We chose a fresh (homemade) pasta with truffles and the lamb in white wine sauce and laid golden! The hosting was very friendly and courteous, the food was great! Let's go back to dinner! View menu

I never went in here without a recommendation. The Café Botanico is unique in Berlin with its summer garden and a botanical garden and a good way to come back when it is too loud in Neukölln. Self-made ice cream, cake or even a risotto with herbs from your own garden? In addition, the Italian salads and ham laughed behind the counter, which I will definitely try at the next visit.

Wonderful. Breakfast has tasted very good and fresh. I liked both the selection and the composition of the dishes very well. Italian and French specialties with herbs and vegetables that grow in the Cafe's own garden. The people who work there seem to me original and multi-cultural! From the operator we have received a small guide through the garden. Next time we will try the Risotto, and we are looking forward to it!

A really great restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, which is definitely worth descending the small, inconspicuous stairs. As a reward a small menu with but incredibly tasty dishes (including homemade pasta). From homemade (seasonal) lemonade to the paradisiacal nightstands, no wishes remain open. Where do I start? It is a manageable map, but who loves vegetarian, vegan and fresh is in the right place here. They work with herbs from their own garden, which one can also look at when waiting, really nice. We sat outside and drank homemade lemonade, super delicious. As an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, I can only recommend it. The main course (the risotto) was just do our taste. Great ambience and eating, the cook has brought the food itself and answered questions. Try it out in any case, super done!

Café Botanico is almost hidden, but still in the middle of Rixdorf, in the half-parterre of Richardstraße 100. If you enter, you immediately found the impression of having found a special place that you do not want to be, but is easy. The small terrace garden with tables on different levels is already an atmospheric place, but it would be nice here, would be successful eye-catchers like garden sculptures or wind lights that would make the terrace a magnificent highlight. The restaurant, especially the outdoor area, is very nice. There's something in the garden, I think it's great! I have already attended seminars on medicinal herbs myself and this is why this concept is a great thing for me. Is it a café or restaurant now? I'd rather say restaurant, the card is clearly designed for food. But: we had the garden plate that tasted itself, but with 12 € for a starter portion has a peppered price.
