really wow! we stopped for casualty, seeing the sign on the road. we ate: appetizer with mixed bruschettes, cut of chianina, dish degotation, a beer, a glass of wine of the house and a bottle of water (total in two.) I would like to compliment not only regarding the goodness and quality of the food but also because the staff made this dinner an unforgettable experience. Busy restaurant just outside Camucia. Looks nothing from the outside as it’s along a row of units. Friends raved about it so we gave it a whirl as it has a great meat reputation. Parking was easy. Large modern interior with 20 tables. Very busy at lunchtime but managed to get a table. Friendly owners. Ordered local steak with rosemary and green pepper for my wife and I tried the burger. Mouthwatering. Steak was excellent and I had the best real steak burgers I have had for many years.... a real treat. Bill including Coffees and water for 32 euros. Must return restaurant especially if you are a meat eater

When you travel through Tuscany you expect to enjoy a fine meal al fresco in a small medieval building on a narrow vicolo. But ask the locals in Camucia, particularly the truck drivers, and they'll send you to Cafe Braceria (unless their cousin owns a tourist trap). Our friends live in Cortona and we were surprised when we pulled into the parking lot. Nothing medieval, it's in a small strip mall but you can done al fresco (while getting your laundry done next door). But the food was terrific. Wonderful food, kind and friendly service! We are staying at a local resort and tiring of the same limited menu each evening, we ventured out. This local steakhouse is amazing! The friendly staff welcomed us with smiles and warm greetings, Liza the server was very helpful as we chose our steaks and pasta, Daniel, the chef personally came to our table to help us understand which beef we should select (local Tuscany vs Ireland, Poland, New Zealand beef). We chose local Tuscany and he grilled it over a wood fire and personally delivered it to our table, all cut up for us.
