"I hadn't eaten at cafe cafe for a few years, the food did NOT disappoint, it was fabulous. Curried tiger prawns and king scallops and pork belly starters-beautiful. Monkfish and lamb mains, again, soooo tasty. Service prompt, waiting staff average, there was hardly any diners,...strange for a Saturday night. So, here's the not so great bits, the whole place just seems tired, a little unloved and a bit manky. It's hard to know if the bar or the restaurant is more important to the owners. The noise from the bar really filtered into the restaurant, didn't create the best romantic dining atmosphere. The lights kept dimming then going brighter again, this happened about 4/5 times during our meal, again, no effort to enhance the atmosphere for diners. The toilets were filthy, toilet roll on the dispenser had finished, so the new roll was on the floor, this is just lazy, the restaurant wasn't packed so staff should be checking the toilets regularly in my view. I'm glad I'd not gone to the loo prior to eating-this is unacceptable, especially as this is prestigious, world renowned Harrow on the Hill, where's the personal pride? The outside smoking area is littered with fag ends, again, where's the sense of pride or reputation? This is the high street, at least as a courtesy to local residents and businesses ensure this area is regularly swept? The decor seemed tired, not the cafe cafe we regularly frequented a few years ago, such a shame."

Missed the breakfast menu as it was almost 1pm when we got there. Food was nice, service was good. Friendly staff, clean place, good car park well sign posted. All the food tasted liked it was home made. Decent size portions.

Went to Cafe Cafe in Harrow in the Hill for lunch. Really nice staff (or possibly the owner too). Excellent service food was delicious and piping hot. We shared the pate with excellent chutney then husband had duck and I had lamb. Vegetable...were lovely too especially glazed carrots. View menu

First time drinking here on a Sunday afternoon, we popped in for a quick drink after brunch. Really relaxed and friendly spot with plenty of space to sit on the sofas or on the tables if you're eating. It was pretty quite when we visited...but can imagine it would be busier on a Friday or Saturday night.

we ate here at 18 o'clock on a Sunday in juli. the restaurant was quite quiet. I had a Maranello cocktail and my daughter had an express martini we both enjoyed. we both had a beautiful lamb dinner that had the most delicious gravy, Brat...Kartoffeln and yorkshire pudding. for dessert I had bananenfritter and ice and my daughter had Malteser cheesecake. we had a bottle of red wine and it was quite reasonable price. the service was not rushed or pushy. I would recommend this place. View menu

harrow on the hill is smart. this place is so dated. all bar employees are East European men dressed in black. the bouncers are Eastern European males dressed black and the place feels dated. we went to dinner and drink. the service was...fine and the food was perfectly acceptable. our waitress was charming. the atmosphere in the bar area was a time long. my friend felt safe. many people from the harrow area seem to go there for drinks. the clientele, the personal and the towers supplement a disturbing atmosphere, the testosteron is obvious. when our group of 7 left, we felt that we had settled down by the reworking of this place. our experience was encapsulated by one of the big steal tower...

Party of four on a Friday evening when the restaurant was half full. We waited more than ten minutes for menus or to have a drinks order taken. Good explanation of dishes but a wait again before the drinks came. During the main course we...ordered a second bottle of red and a second bottle of tap water; a long wait ensued and then mineral water was brought instead of tap water. A waitress tried to clear our glasses before our wine was finished (the staff wouldn't have known how much wine we had as we had had to pour it all ourselves). When we asked her to leave the glass she pointed out that it was empty and we had to explain that we weren't finished the bottle, she obviously wasn't pleased...

"The venue, food, service, value and portions are all 10/10. I absolutely love the whole vibe of this restaurant, it feels so authentic and the staff are all so lovely. My first encounter here was a first date back in 2015; we have visited many times since but to point out a few special ones, we returned to celebrated our pregnancy news, our engagement and then most recently when that date became my husband, we came back to Sorrentina with our family to celebrate our wedding day. The organisation for our party of 25 was impeccable, the food all came out in a structured and timely manner. The quality of the food was incredible as it always is fresh, authentic Italian food cooked to perfection Sorrentina is the perfect little spot for a romantic dinner, a family meal or a larger party meal. Sentimental feelings aside, I truly cannot fault it in any way. Needless to say we’ll be back! But more importantly, the feedback from our 20+ guests that hadn’t been here before was that they all really enjoyed the food, the staff were lovely and that they’d definitely return. Some have even gone and recommended it to their friends and families local people supporting a small local business! A humongous thank you to Tony, Emilio, Adriano and all the rest of the lovely staff, there wasn’t any other place we’d have wanted to spend our day."
