Kaffee und Kuchen waren damals schon nicht schlecht.-Vor 2 Wochen haben wir entschieden das Cafe nochmal zu besuchen und diesmal wollten wir unbedingt drinnen warm und bequem sitzen. Ich war ein Bisel überrascht. Das Ambiente ist so gemütlich aber auch irgendwie cool.Ich hatte eine Zitronen-Schoko-Torte die sehr gut schmeckte. Der Kaffee war auch gut. Unser Kleinermann war auch mit seiner Schoko-Creme-Torte & Banana Shake (trotz zu hohe Preis) zufrieden.-Günstig war dort auf keinen Fall aber zumindest die Kuchen sind gut. Service war freundlich und schnell."

The food was delicious! It was a lovely salad and vegetarian quiche. Many varieties of cakes. It was superb! I could complain about the dogs inside. I really didn't appreciate it. So I don't recommed for who doesn"t like to eat with animals nearby

Looking for a light refreshment, Iced coffee we found this little shop on a street corner with beautiful cakes for sale and an appealing seating area for food. Asking if they served Iced Coffee over the lunch time, the staff were so friendly and accommodating..

The refined pastries and cakes are the real draw here, together with an old-world café interior. Service is a bit patchy, but all that is forgotten once you dig into one of those multi layered delicious cakes, accompanied by classic filter coffee. This is NOT a trendy barista bar.

Café Jansen ist nur noch der Name! Heute wird dieses geführt von Fassbender und es ist nicht mehr das, was es einmal war! Die Waren haben leider nicht mehr die Frische sowie die Qualität von früher. Dafür sind sie aber im Preis unverhältnismäßig hoch gestiegen. Das Personal hat sich darüber hinaus offensichtlich auch noch der verschlechterten Qualität angepaßt! Unter Berücksichtigung des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses vermag ich dieses Café nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Im Vergleich gibt es in der Innenstadt von Köln deutlich bessere!Ja, es würde mich freuen, wenn Ihnen mein kleiner Erfahrungsbeitrag etwas hilfreich sein konnte.
