"Walked in and several staff came to greet me and offered up indoor and outdoor seating options. Thought this is great. As I was seated the original waitress was friendly offered up several pre dinner drink options. I chose the weizen radler...as always. The meal...order return from a separate waitress was almost minutes. Upon ordering they have several dry aged beef options various cuts along with burger choice with or without cheese. I opted for the schnitzel, but asked to modify with a chicken breast and was told no. I explained I didn’t eat port and the veal option was offered which is a young cut of beef, chose the option available as no other option was. Asked to substitute the traditional fried variant for the rahm mushroom gravy and they brought it on the side and was more mushrooms than gravy. The schnitzel was falling out of the breading, but tasted delicious. I’ve been here almost an hour and have yet to be checked on or offered another beer. Fries are fat, short unseasoned steak fries. The lemon for the schnitzel is dried out, obviously used all day or sat out as a last resort. Great feel with the decor and meal options, but disappointed at the customer service and final presentation. Definitely won’t be back"

"We are visitors from England and usually stay in Kevelaer about once a year always paying a visit to the Goldener Swan as we have found it so good.This year was a little more problematic as my wife has developed a serious food intolorance to anything the slightest citrus. We chose a venison casserole and asked the waiter to check with the chef that there was nothing in the meal that could be problematic and he returned a couple of minutes later with a sheaf of paper re-assuring us that there were no ingredients that could cause a problem. There were three of us and we all ordered the venison casserole which after a few minutes arrived each with a slice of orange garnish. At first the waiter suggested that we just remove the garnish but eventually realised that the food was contaminated and we did get a replacement meal for my wife.This spoiled our evening as the omission was so unnecessary as some one was not really listening to us. There was no language problem as one of the three of us speaks fluent German, I speak acceptable German and the waiter spoke perfect English.The meal however was wonderful as it always is and on on our next visit I am sure that I can award full marks as I could always have done on all past visits, it is such a shame that this last time was the only one that was not perfect."

"An Italien place with good pizza, good menue and taking into consideration what you request within the offered menue to add, change or to get better getting nice reception. Nice atmosphere if you like cool industrial design. Service very friendly and accomondated. Wine card must be added more selection, selection very pure.Could be the second place for Italian restaurant in Kevelear if looking forewared."

"Update 30/07/2023: Schade 19,50€ für den Salat, der vorher bei 13,50€ lag?! Leider nicht angemessen und zwei Kunden verloren. Kurz und knapp großartig! Bestellung immer per WhatsApp mit Uhrzeit, Vorlauf ca. 30 Minuten kann das Essen abgeholt werden, variiert denke ich je nach Auftragsmenge, bisher aber immer auf den Punkt fertig zum mitnehmen. Wir haben nun die gesamte Karte durch und alle Speisen sind absolut frisch zubereitet, der Geschmack eines jeden Gerichtes zu den Beilagen ist perfekt abgestimmt. Mein Favorit der Salat Teryaki mit einer köstlichen, leicht süßen Vinaigrette Soße. Dazu Süßkartoffelpommes und Guacamole Dip. Zum Salat gibt es noch 3 Brötchen verschiedener Art mit einer selbst gemachten Kräuterbutter perfekt! Weiter so! Was die Portion angeht, wenn du einen halben Döner schaffst, ist das absolut ausreichend!"

"Wir haben telefonisch bestellt und die Pizzen sollten 30 min. später abholbereit sein. Die Bestellung wurde auch in der Pizzeria nochmal abgefragt und war richtig. Nach mehr als 1 Stunde bekamen wir 2 komplett falsche Pizzen, bei einer Pizza Spinat statt dem bestellten Brokkoli, bei der vierten fehlten die Peperoni. Von der „Größe“ der Pizzen und dem Belag möchte ich gar nicht reden. Ich finds sehr schade, denn die Pizzen waren mal wirklich gut."
