"Visited on many occasions over the last 3 years. It says open until 4pm but on possibly 6 or 7 visits at around 2 to 2.30 they close and you get turned away. The other problem is lack of produce. Wife ordered a roast only to be told only veg available is peas. I went in yesterday 19th March planning to have a burger. Apparently no burgers. The food is excellent, the staff are nice there is absolutely no complaint about them from me. I just wish if it says open until 4 pm that's what you do and secondly perhaps have food a standard menu that is always available as per wetherspoons for example. Both my wife and I had set our minds on what we were going to order to find none of it available. I didn't want a sandwich even though they are excellent and the specials board did not offer anything we fancied. As I said im not having ago at the owners or staff they are all really nice. Not complaining about prices they are what I would expect. It's just driving there during listed opening hours to be turned away and items of food not being available"

Nice setting but £15.40 for two coffees and two cream scones is taking the mickey. Suppose I should have asked first what the price was. No toilet either.

Stopped here once before on the way home from Blackpool as nowhere else was open. It was overpriced but passable food when hungry. This time was even worst than the last! Met by an older Lady serving who didn 't even give us chance to look at the menu behind the counter which is hard to scan as it is. We were told the Soup was winter veg, omg worst gluggy soup I have ever tasted

The service at this restaurant is incredibly slow and the elderly woman at the cash register is quite skilled at overcharging customers. Another customer pointed out that she had made a mistake in totaling up my bill, and I later discovered that she had also overcharged me according to my bank statement. I should have corrected her at the time, but I didn't. I've learned my lesson and won't be returning. View menu

I visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon and was disappointed to find that they only had chip shop food or sandwiches available. I ordered two sandwiches - egg mayo and chicken - along with a latte and a tea for a total of £16.50. Unfortunately, the chicken sandwich was very dry and not enjoyable. Overall, the experience was not good and I found it to be expensive. This will be my last visit to this restaurant.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, but now it has become too expensive and prices are listed on nearly everything. Lately, they often do not have the items you want to order and they frequently close early, turning away customers. This can be frustrating, especially after traveling across town to eat there. It seems like they do not value their customers anymore. I will not be returning, as there are other dining options available.

Food was decent and lots of options, it came quite quickly. However no menus on the table and I was with a relative with limited mobility, so we sat down and got a drink. I then went to the sandwiches and was jotting down the options on my phone to show my relative, and got snapped at 'can I ask why you 're writing everything on your phone ' by the owner. Er, because it 's 2023 not 1953. The younger people serving were friendly and the main waiter managing the space efficiently, but I 'd be hesitant to return. View menu

Following our annual trip to St Annes we were pleasantly surprised that the cafe was still open and serving drinks and light snacks. (So often now cafes begin to stop serving from 3.30pm in this country). We ordered coffee's and two do-nuts each. Coffee was swiftly served followed by the do-nuts. Pretty quick considering the ongoing queu to order them. The staff were pleasant and enthusiastic, despite having probably had a long and busy working day. I must say that the do-nuts were possibly the tastiest I have ever eaten (I am 79). A good end to a pleasant afternoon. Thank=you

Terrible service and food. Visited on the way back from the Lake District. Went to the counter to choose two sandwiches. There was a sign saying don’t handle the sandwiches. How on earth was I going to pick them up then ! Took them to the till where some Rita Fairclough type of lady said do you want drinks. I said no and she disappeared. Had to ask one of the staff who was wandering around to pay. £15.00 for two sandwiches. Wouldn’t have been too bad if they were any good. The salmon on one had never seen a tin or a hook. It was play doh pink and fibrous . Imagine it was out of a catering tub 10% fish and Lord knows what else. The afore mentioned woman accused a man of not paying. I saw him...
