"Staying in Trastevere, we were excited to discover Caffè di Marzio just a few blocks away from our VRBO in Piazza di Santa Maria. We didn't stop just a couple of times, but experienced the delectable delights this place offered FOUR TIMES! Not only did we enjoy George, Abram, and the rest of the staff, but the food was very enjoyable. From aperitivo to limoncello spritz to dinner, this place exceeded our expectations. Caffè di Marzio allowed us to sit back and watch the world go by with the Basilica di Santa Maria and Fontana di Santa Maria as a backdrop. George and crew made each experience unique and special while getting to know us as travelers and not tourists. For nearly a week, they adopted us as one of their own. We highly recommend aperitivo and dinner here."

Restaurant to absolutely avoid. To flee . We wanted to sit down for a drink, there were 4 of us. We wanted to sit in front. We were insulted by the waiter, sent away with a cross look, because we weren 't allowed and he wanted to put us at the back on 2 different tables. We were very happy, they treated us very well, we asked for a recommendation to eat typical dishes and they told us two, one was like a vegetable lasagna and the other some meat rolls stuffed with vegetables, both exquisite!!!
