"We've eaten a lot of Italian food over the years Australia has a very strong Italian migrant culture. So, after a tiring few chilly autumn days in Paris, our first choice for comfort food is Italian. Caffe Toscano was close to our hotel and seemed the perfect fit. It was. After a friendly welcome, we were provided with some mini aubergine bruscettas to ensure our blood sugar levels did not dip too low whilst perusing the menu. We decided to share a Caprese salad to start, then went for pasta spaghetti vongole and fettuccine with lamb ragu. All very tasty, decent sized meals, complemented with a half litre carafe of house red. For dessert, we couldn't go past tiramisu, a long time favourite. It didn't disappoint. Having seen the serving size, we shared. All in all a happy experience."

We ate here one night really late. They welcomed us in and fed us the most delicious pasta! Spaghetti Pompadour. I have eaten in Italy and this pasta could compete easily. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we went back a second time.
