"The burgers are excellent and of very good quality, because the products come from nearby producers what remains rare today. The reception is perfect nothing to say. The only flat remains the limited place in the store, it is preferable to take away. The price must not be more excessive. I recommend Bayeux."

"We visitied La Rapiere during July 2017. I had the Foie Gras as starter and the Boeuf as main. The Mrs had the Japanese Tuna Sallad and the Boeuf. They were all very well prepared and tasted delicious. In between the dishes we got to taste some apple sorbet with calvados and some other small local starters. I really urge you too select the menus because its the small things in between that really combines it all to a wonderful experience. The host and the servants was excellent in their treatment. Especially the host which we found very friendly and keen to make everyone satisfied. I was in Bayeux in 2014 and unfortunately missed our booked dinner due to an accident. Now I was back and I really enjoyed it. Sad I missed it the first time around."

"The gifts from the kitchen were tastefully and beautifully presented. For appetizers my wife and I had fresh oysters that were great; my sister had an appetizer of artichoke and smoked aale in a tasteless broth; the whole court was Blande. Our main courses were Guinea-Fowl and black bass-return (when cooked correctly) lacked sufficient spice and taste. We understood that the chef holds Asian influences and aromas – prohaps he was from the city."
