"We went for dinner in the evening. The greeting was okay. The staff seemed rushed and were whispering to each other, which created a tense atmosphere. My wife and I both decided to try the Indian set menu for £42 each, thinking it would be worth the price. We both ordered the Lamb Seekh Kebab, but it was awful and lacked flavor. It tasted as if it came from a cheap supermarket. We only ate it because we were hungry and worried that any other option would be worse. I also ordered a beer, which I saw sitting on the bar for 15 minutes before it was finally brought to me after I finished my first course. The second course was slightly better but still disappointing. Despite being awarded two rosettes by the AA, the restaurant seemed to have lost its way. We ended up paying £91 for tap water, a beer, and a disappointing meal, with a printed request for a full tip. We will not be returning."
