"the cartoon is a cozy caffe in a quiet side street near the friedensplatz. the position, however, ensures that the seats in front of the door in summer do not invite to dwell, since only rarely a sunbeam is lost in the road. the drink selection is regular, small snacks are also served. for the larger hunger is available next to the toons diner. all in all a good caffe with (for bonn) relatiw civilian preisen, more recommended for the evening hours."

Lots of selection, very busy atmosphere. Had the Spanish burger--was delicious. Would've gone back but couldn't remember where it was. Service was friendly and staff spoke English.

nice small load near the friedensplatz, which is not so crowded. drinks at affordable prices served by friendly staff. nice music, French flair, many cartoons on the walls. mixed public, more information/pictures can be found on the website: [hidden link]

Bistro Cartoon and Restaurant Pendel have the same kitchen. Cartoon specialises in a rustic bar interior from its ambience and the pendulum is known for a few cozy cocktails. Cartoon staff are very friendly so it is an ideal place to get away from the hectic drive of the city View menu

We were boils, actually wanted only breakfast, but the café was brought directly to us without milk when the café was already cold. We ordered three different breakfasts, now my Mediterranean was best, the other two were pretty boring. The shop quite unattended, WC cruelly forwarded it directly, the staff not attentively rather sleep. This time we were not satisfied. M, T, S.

Cartoon is one of Bonn's best places to eat. It's great for all groups of people: friends, family, couples, even if you're by yourself. Their Sunday brunch is amazing great prices and the food is good every single time I visit. The staff are...also really helpful with English customers, which can be hit and miss sometimes in Germany. If it's too busy, try Pendel across the street they're both ran by the same people, and the menu is the exact same.

Bonn is a charming city on the Rhine, known for Beethoven's birthplace. Typical dishes include Sauerbraten, Rhenish mussels, and Himmel un Ääd, a mix of mashed potatoes and apples.
