"we recently arrived at this place and spent some time before we could find a parking space on the road near the eifelplatz. at the arrival in the restaurant we were warmly welcomed even though we had only reserved one table. intriguing one of the waiters then really annoyingly challenged my order on beer. He explained that I had to order the local Kölsch beer and went on to explain what this is never once troubled to check that after I had lived in this area of Germany for the last years or so, I would have heard or even tasted it. I just wanted one more kind they obviously didn't have here. but no matter. the food was good I had the baby calamari on a small bed alga followed by tagliatelle with venus mussels. both dishes were washed out delicious with a few bottles of primitivo red wine. to dessert we saw another table with zabaione (not on the menu). but one of the other, less superstitious waiters assured us that we could order this as minimal order for people. we finished the meal with a decent glass limoncello. In summary, we enjoyed the wein and the food here. the decor was also beautiful and cozy, more like a French art red when they ask me. but I was dismissed by the condescentrating nature of the waiter and the beer history, and I thought that the relatiw mere choice on the menu was quite expensive. this evening we have three people well overcrowded."
