Casa di Biase - Menu

This place is a MUST see! I don't know why it doesn't have better reviews. First of all, Will Smith has been there (as per a photo on the wall) It is the most authentic italian food I've ever had. AMAZING restaurant.

we were at least there and were always very satisfied. the surprise menu is a good price suggestion and good weine are offered at a reasonable price. our favorites are the nudes with truffles from the a la carte menu.

Great italian ! I ve been living in cologne for several years and i think i found the right italian restaurant. Great service , good food a bit noisy during fairs but this is not surprising that people come here and comeback!

there was no answer to our reservation request via web. I don't think the system works properly. Anyway, we decided to go with a good advice from our friend. a table gave us only one and a half hours. each of...we have sprinted up to the end of dinner within the targeted time grinding time quality were moderate. the Sicilian white wine was good. the sarg machine was broken. we finished dinner without caffeine. as a conclusion, the restaurant can be chosen for a moderate quality and good ambiente by italian.

a classic in cologne, casa de biase is off the tourists walkingroutes ( 10 min or € from the cathedral) in a nice neighborhood.biase food is classic high level italian with a notch of fusion, but only if you want it. nice terrace on a large circlular square near parks and the südstadt, the southern inner city. wines are fabulous, and the padrone always has a good tipp. their dessert speciality is a mnufactured chocolat mass in several tastes - not my cup of tea, but the others liked it.count +- 40-50 pp for food - and the wine will determine the rest ;-)

My wife's family lives in Cologne; we took my family too and were 12 for dinner. Issues immediately arose upon arrival, and continued consistently: 1. They couldn't serve pasta bolognese for my nephew. 2. Dinner set menu with choices - but the arrogant owner got the orders wrong. 3. 3 courses took 3 hours, when we asked response was "good food takes time". 4. Toilets were overflowing, response "nothing we can do".5. Waiter tipped over wine cooler onto our bags, response "it's only water". 6. Credit card machine broken - could have told us earlier. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!

The nicely decorated and furnished restaurant is a wonderful place to forget everything except eating and drinking together with best friends. The service is very professional: attentive and friendly at the same time. The choice of the menu and the winelist is just overwhelming: Just follow the advice of your waiters. We've enjoyed very tasty pasta with white truffles (as a main course), fresh tuna fish (as a starter) and swordfish grilled with care (as a light main course). Everybody of our crowd has left the ristorante in a perfect mood and not hungry at all. We shall come back. And last but not least the bill was OK.

this restaurant at eifelplatz is a bit more expensive than many local restaurants, but it is still quite good. my wife and I both had the zucchini star who was excellent in the look at my wife and pretty good from my own. my wife. had the Calamari star as her main course and that was superb (she allowed me a few bites!) I had the fish carpaccio that was good but not amazing. In view of my lack of German and poor Italians, I am not sure what the fish was! They have been in business for twenty-five years, so they obviously do something right. probably it is not worth traveling throughout the city, but it is worth stopping when they are in the neighbourhood.

we recently arrived at this place and spent some time before we could find a parking space on the road near the eifelplatz. at the arrival in the restaurant we were warmly welcomed even though we had only reserved one table. intriguing one of the waiters then really annoyingly challenged my order on beer. He explained that I had to order the local Kölsch beer and went on to explain what this is never once troubled to check that after I had lived in this area of Germany for the last years or so, I would have heard or even tasted it. I just wanted one more kind they obviously didn't have here. but no matter. the food was good I had the baby calamari on a small bed alga followed by tagliatelle...
