"This place was so welcoming and SO TASTY! We’d driven 45 mins across the island to Ajuy to find it all closed up so had to wrestle a 2 year old and hungry 7 year old back in to car seats and get back on the road to find somewhere. TripAdvisor brought us here and it was about halfway home. When we arrived the place was empty aside from a little room on the side which was full of couples and a lively group, so a fun atmosphere. The staff were so kind and helpful to us and our two now very tired and hungry girls. They brought bread and lovely homemade dips straight away; talked us through the amazing selection of meats available at the kitchen; explained things on the menu as we don’t have ANY Spanish; offered half size dishes for the girls and these were cooked as a priority and brought quickly without us having to ask. And the food was so good. Tuna steak was tasty and fresh, the steak was tenderised and buttery and came with an amazing sauce, and the pork chops were juicy, soft with perfect salty crispy fat to chew off the bones. The selection of croquettes for my toddler was perfect and the ham was my favourite! This, plus two ice creams, two wines, Fanta lemon, a beer and a water was €69. Amazing. We sat and watched delicious looking good being served around us seasoned tomatoes ! the salads ! As we left the main part of the restaurant was filling up with locals and families, and some people at the bar. Staff were smily and friendly. And to top it off, and explaining the name, this is obviously a family of wrestlers. The big strong man tenderising the meat in the kitchen and the young string man with the black eye serving tables were up on the walls with photos of their success! I loved it. What a find, and way to save our evening! Thank you"

Well worth a drive out of town for one of the most authentic experiences on the island. Full of locals which is always a good sign! Great steak, highly recommend the sirloin.

We were recommended by another restaurant in the village, which did not attend us because they closed in half an hour. and that was our luck, because on the way back, something out of the road, this place was waiting for us with its local, simple and generous kitchen. a correct, not distant, unflush treatment. and a rich, abundant and economical meal, a discovery.

This restaurant located in the valleys of ortega is a clear exponent of traditional Canarian cuisine. I treated a table of generous and exquisite cheeses, plate tuna and fried boy. Very good. they have as wine of the house a red of havingife. eye to ask more of the account because the rations are abundant. attentive service and very good value for money. recommended for lovers of Canarian cuisine.

Omg what an absolute fantastic place. Off the beaten track 15 drive from caleta de fuste. Place was so busy . Fabulous food from the garlic prawns , chickpea meat and chorizo starters Mains iberian pork, entrecote and homemade fishcakes. Then the homemade caramel dessert . Authentic Spanish restaurant with lovely flavours. Staff were very friendly especially Catherine who helped us with translation. Will definitely be back here to try other dishes .

This is a typical Canarian restaurant which is located in a small village 15 mins out of the resort of Caleta de Fuste. Four of us shared a Parma ham salad as a starter and it was a good portion. For the main course we had filet steak which was humongous (I took half home). The steak came with chips, rice and vegetables. We ate on a Sunday lunchtime and it was heaving with Spanish people so that speaks for itself. The prices were very reasonable. Our total bill was €75 for the four of us this included one shared starter, mains and one shared desert, beer, wine, bread and allioli. It sure is a hidden little gem.
