"I was really looking forward to trying to this place out after seeing how buzzing it was the week prior. The menu looked really good and myself and 3 friends decided to get 2 x nachos to share as a starter. When they came there was no cheese and no guacamole and the refried beans on top were cold. For mains we decided to get some quesadillas and tacos. I was shocked when they came out. In my previous experience of eating mexican food, tacos usually come in a folded tortilla shell and quesadillas are filling sandwiched between 2 tortillas and then fried. Well there was absolutely no difference between the 2, everything which came to the table was a flat cold tortilla wrap with a bit of topping sprinkled on top. The quesadillas were basically tortilla with a little with it cheese and a spoonful of guacamole. All in all we paid 75 pounds for some cold nachos with no cheese and some tortillas with cheese sprinkled on top which must have cost the restaurant less than £5 to make... daylight robbery. This is not authentic Mexican cuisine and I can’t believe the owners are proud to serve up such unappetising dishes to people and expect them to part with their money. I’ll stick to Old El Paso thanks, much cheaper and much tastier."

One of the worst places I've ever eaten. Food was not edible. Had to spit it out. Was bland, salty and soggy. The Margaritas were nice and were on happy hour. Far better places to eat in brixton village.

This restaurant in Brixton village is a real gem, offering an excellent combination of burrito and salad bowl with fresh flavors and delicious guacamole. The Coronas are a good value addition to the meal. The menu offers great value and I would definitely recommend it for a casual dinner with friends.

My partner and I ordered the menu for two at this restaurant. The ingredients were very good and flavorful, with many of them imported from Mexico such as tomatoes and corn tortillas. For just 25 pounds plus drinks, we were able to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant.

£25 for 2 for a good selection of different dishes that is definitely enough to leave you pretty full. Opted to have the chocolate chili cake after however but probably shouldn't have bothered as wasn't the best but all the savoury stuff was good and you can also buy tortillas (including cactus ones! and sauces

Brixton market has lots to offer foodies. We chose this restaurant for it's chilled vibe, quick service and extensive gluten free menu. Loved the number of eating option with sharing plates tapas style, starters, small plates and mains. Plus happy hour on drinks if eat early eve. Simple, fresh, tasty and quick, with lots of flavour and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a light pre-gig meal.

Living in London as an American, I have frequented almost every Mexican place this city has to offer searching for something that remotely resembles the cuisine we can get back home. Casa Morita has finally hit the sweet spots. I've been here for lunch when the market is buzzing and had a torta that was spot on what I remember from home. The bread is the key factor in a torta and this was perfect. I also just came with some of my other American friends and we loved the fresh homemade tortilla chips that I've literally never been able to get anywhere else. The authentic Mexican chorizo was also a hit with everyone and the quest fresco too. I hope they can get some Negra Modelo in and then it...
