Chefs en Provence - Menu

I stopped here not knowing when I would have a real meal again. I'm glad I did. The service was excellent and food was very tasty.

If you need to spend time at the airport, don't rely on getting a decent meal anywhere there. It was most frustrating to be unable to access French cuisine after a long drive, when we were hungry, because of opening hours.

The restaurant is at the first stage of the marseille Aéroport. It is expensive and the food, looks like freeze food. The magret du canard was not so special . The salad of cheese is good . The wine is ok but the price is...not so good . The ambient is calm and private. View menu

if I wanted to stop the people from being a country with good food, while I ensured that people missed their flights, I would set up this place. the mushes arrived late and cold, were cooked several decades in advance. a steaming baptism of...microwaved dung would have offered a greater nutritional support and had higher food safety.

Because I ad some time to spend I treated myself on a lunch at Marseille airport. To limit the costs I took a burger with goat cheese and some french fries. The burger was ok, not special. The fries were a bummer, dark and weak,...no ketchup, no mayonnaise.... I left them in the basket they were served in. The restaurant it self was, although it was packed, nice and quiet.

How can one wait an hour for an oeuf en cocotte who manages to be at the same time, burn up and cold? the main course was a fish fillet, which also arrived stone cold. the service was in order, they were not so. drunk and the coffee was offered as an excuse. no Christmas decoration visible. the only positive points were a decent kir for aperitif and a decent glass white wine. After we have spent the new year with friends north of orange and have two cars to return, we allowed a lot of time! we had hours before our flight. we decided the time in this restaurant to “switch” as on our outside British airways ran out. from all foods! we were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of the airport food we were served. we will surely arrive early again so that we can enjoy our last meal in France.

My general experience around the world has been that airport meals are best avoided but, on a previous visit to Provence with friends and faced with a wait for our flight, we tried Chefs en Provence. We were impressed enough that, on our trip this...year, we all agreed to choose a later flight than necessary so that we could have lunch there again. The restaurant is modern in style, with a mix of booths and tables and plenty of room for luggage, which is important landside at an airport but often neglected. From the outside this restaurant looked really appealing and way above your normal airport offering. The menu looked good so with hrs waiting for our flight we decided to give it a go. I have no complaints about the food, it was fine.... There...seemed to be sections in the restaurant, one laid up for a full service meal with wine glasses and the other with just water glasses and cutlery. Maybe you need to book for the posh side but we weren't offered it even though it was empty. We were taken to a table for with placing set up the left overs from the last table on the other side.
