"On Saturday, July 29, 2017, we returned for the second time (again for a sweet break, outside the restaurant, during the afternoon) and had the confirmation of our initial opinion (see previous review:) “at franceska” is a great messine address, both in terms of the taste and originality of its pastries and the conviviality that reigns there. This visit was therefore a gustative pleasure coupled with a pleasant and quiet moment on the terrace. We have enjoyed 2 succulent slices of pies, one with salty caramel butter and the other matcha-framboises-chocolat-amandes (if my memory is good). Addition, 12 euros (with a large coffee with milk).Patronne and waitress were simply charming and irreproachable at once; you feel the passion and the desire to always do well. With regard to the messy tea salons, probably our favorite; We are really looking forward to going back."

small messine find, pastries are made home and are excellent; organic coffee is great, as well as hot chocolate. as to the reception, also great. Easy place. I strongly recommend this place!

3rd visit to this tea room where you can enjoy quiches, fruit pies and others. all homemade and especially very affordable 34€ for two formulas with two glasses of wine and a coffee. the welcome and the atmosphere are perfect. Thanks and above all continue like this

We had been advised this place, we were pretty disappointed. The wait rather long is to take the order or to be served while there were only 5/6 people already installed. It must be recognized that everything is home-made.Many desserts exposed and when we ask what we can offer, we just had two fruit pies on offer.

A nice little dinner with girlfriends. we took the dish of the day, gratin of potatoes and leeks with smoked salmon and fresh cream chives it all with salad, serving a meringue lemon pie. The boss is charming, the waitress just as much. the place is small but cozy. the dishes are fresh and the card changes daily. the dish of the day with a dessert for 12.50 €. the value for money is very honest. a very large variety of coffees and teas. Anyway, we go back with great pleasure.

For several months, the shopping at metz is rhyme for me with franceska. for 12.50 eur we have lunch very well. the formula of the day: salad made of or pie or quiche, a drink and a share of pie. We're out of here. Don't you end your pie? No problem, we'll take it and you'll go with it. frankly just for a taster stop you there are so many choices of pies (at least 6 different each time). Today for me: quiche courgette and goat served with salad, flat water and a share of vanilla raspberry pie. the supplement for the pie that is not offered on the menu is 50 cents (.. we don't ruin ).Go there!

After several gourmet meals and tasters, I don't know what I like most at franceska. I like the idea of being able to eat a slice of salted pie almost every hour, accompanied by a generous salad. Salted pies are tasteful and light. sweet pies are sweet and generous. I like the tendency to go to organic and that there is always a possibility to eat vegetarian or not because there is for all tastes. The decor is nice and chichi-free. I like the decayed dishes. I like the smiling welcome of franceska and juliette, also without chichi. I like the choice of tea and coffee and the possibility of having breakfast with homemade croissants. Anyway, it's simple, nice and cheap.
