"We liked this place so much we came back the next evening. Food is hearty French fare, with a good array of foie gras, and canard dishes to choose from. (For those who prefer other meats, there's enough from the menu to choose from as well) Waiter is friendly and helpful and made excellent recommendations. The three slices of foie gras was firm yet soft, the escargots well done, the beef casserole of a melt-in-your-mouth quality. The salmon, that came with a two small rounds of melted camembert was.... rich and substantial. The canard with cantal and bacon sitting on a bed of dauphine potatoes was hearty and so good I ate more than I should have ! We were there early and a steady stream of customers mostly regulars, from the looks of it continued to stream in throughout the evening , till the 50-60 seater place filled up. When again in Paris will definitely make it a point to visit even if I don't stay in Arcueil."

very inviting and warm welcome. The foie gras trio is delicious. Papa snails: a very original recipe that changes us from butter to the fender 5a à la carte

I know this restaurant since its opening...The welcome is nice, the copied kitchen, salads always well garnished. Yesterday, the ward was perfect.Friendly neighborhood address.

We went in as the place looks good. Orders came in very fast and size is good. Confit de canard is a must try. Steak is also good. but the escargots are the best. Simple and tasty. Price is reasonable.

reception and nice service. But it tastes like a chain kitchen. and when you see the preparation of the desserts of the room: the slice of brioche way lost bread that passes to the micro waves, the caramel cream demolished with a floc on the plate, it is said that with frozen, you would have eaten at home and for cheaper

Went to Chez Papa based on the recommendation of the hotel front desk and boy are we glad we went. This was my first time in Paris and subsequently my first meal and “wow” was I impressed. Service was great. Coming from American they could tell we were struggling with the French menu and they immediately gave us a translated menu we could easily understand. We started with the Escargot which was delicious and everything after that was even better. Onto the charcuterie and cheese board which was amazing. For the main I had Veal escalope with leek confit and boy was impressed. And of course with the meal we had lots of wine. We finished the meal with a desert in a shot glass. I cannot say enou...
