Visited churchyard to visit ancestors! Warm friendly staff and a lovely meal, its a shame it was 50 miles from where we were staying

excellent service and very good food, the ciders were delicious as was the food. Good value. Very attractive old village pub in a delightful location.

My friend and I tried the barbequed ribs, enjoyed a couple of pints, and shared a bottle of Shiraz at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area. View menu

I totally recommend this wonderful little pub. The owners are lovely and the staff excellent. We have never had a bad meal and each time we order we are delighted. The service is fast and the food always hot and nothing is too much trouble....

We decided to pop into this pub as a family for a social drink. The service was good friendly plus the beer was lovely. Unfortunately we decided to stay for dinner, the service was still as good as before but the food quality was not so. I would recommend this pub for a social drink but not for food.

We came back to this village pub on a summer evening, as we had promised, after our last visit in October. Audrey greeted us warmly and the small, friendly staff worked efficiently despite being busy. They had a couple of great craft beers on tap and the pub food was excellent without being pretentious. The pub is dog-friendly and clearly popular among the locals.

This pub is a fantastic throwback to what pubs used to be like. Despite booking last minute, the staff were able to find us a table for dinner even though they were quite busy. The food consisted of classic pub dishes that were reasonably priced, hot, and well presented. Our two young children were welcomed without any issues, and we enjoyed some good beer in a car park with a barrier for added security. View menu
