"Dinner at Civico 25 was a highlight of our trip to Perugia. A great find! It is in a lively, edgy part of town with a thriving art street scene but it’s still only a 4 5 minute walk from Piazza IV Novembre. The menu focuses on quality local Umbrian dishes. I can recommend the Strangozzi with Pachino tomatoes, pancetta burrata €15) and the ossobuco €18), which was melt in your mouth delicious. We ordered the house wine, a local Umbrian red from Cantina Cenci which we enjoyed a lot. The restaurant seemed to be mostly filled with locals and as is frequently noted, this is always a good sign for tourists. No turistico menu here it is only in Italian. The one very small gripe I had is that it's a QR code menu. I like an old school physical menu and I don’t think I’m the only one). Nobody minded QR code menus during the covid 19 pandemic but I think it’s time to ditch them. Most tables are downstairs but we sat upstairs at one of just a handful of tables on a mezzanine level. It was a nice, quiet area for couples and the service was very attentive sometimes you can get neglected if you are tucked away in a quieter area but definitely not a problem here service was excellent). It’s probably always better to book ahead but we rarely do because we never know how our day might play out. We got a table easily but we were eating early and the restaurant had filled up a lot more by the time we were leaving."

We came here without high expectations. But, we left more than statisfied. As starter we had something with Zucchini and ricotta, a salad with chicken, as main course Tatare and pork with radicchio. Mousse at the end…. Delicious!

This is a small lively restaurant with a great host and staff. The menu is not large but interesting and there are specials which have a local twist. The host was a great help with choosing a wine and the service was attentive and friendly. This is very good place for a copy local meal recommended!!

We stopped for dinner in this place on a friend's advice. we arrived slightly in advance and there were several free tables, one closer to the ocita than to say of the owner was reserved, although it remained empty all evening, so we settled in where there was very hot and confused tables including a bachelor party. the very wide wine card, the organic wine we were advised was light, on average nothing exceptional. we ordered a “carciofo” appetizer that was totally unused with an undefined purée at the base. then there to tartare, not to beat the knife and served with a plant of house, which is not an evil, if it was not that it was totally rejected (while we asked for the condiments) and ac...
