Si mangia anche discretamente. I secondi sono abbastanza buoni e il posto è bello. Ma per un primo ci vogliono 2 ore e tanto per il secondo! Ma come faccio a gestire un rinfrescante come questo? Dunque, non mi piace scrivere recensioni negative ma questo posto lo merita perché NON è un ristorante ma una casa. Tutti improvvisati, dal personale alla cucina. Nessuno ci preavvisa che c è da aspettare ,il locale non mi sembrava affollato eppure : TEMPI BIBLICI, arrivati alle 13:30, tra l 'altro con una bimba di 12 anni, l 'antipasto di formaggi (cosa ci vuole a tagliare 4 fette!? arriva alle 14:50!! Dopo altri 20 minuti sono andato in cucina avvisando che saremmo andati via entro 10 minuti e subito hanno fatto uscire fettuccine scotte ai funghi porcini in barattolo, bistecca decente e insalata mista... Piccolo Mondo is in the new section of Bomarzo. We went to the old section and couldn’t find anywhere to eat. We asked the locals and they sent us to Piccolo Mondo telling us they had very good food and they were right! First of all when we arrived we found a lovely garden. We stopped in Bomarzo to visit the Park of the Monsters, or “Parco dei Mostri.” When it was time for lunch, after consulting with the locals, our driver suggested Piccolo Mondo, a family-run ristorante. Great suggestion. It was a beautiful day so we opted for the patio. The setting was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the gardens. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. The menu was varied with plenty of home-grown items. We ordered salads and pastas and simple table wines and everything was delicious.
