"We were in Paris on business, and the office was nearby. That 's really the only reason anyone would have to come here. We walked here after work one day with about 10 people and the bar seemed annoyed that we had so many people as opposed to being happy to have 10 customers (there was plenty of room/seats for us). They started the conversation by mandating that we only have 1 check, and that we don 't start a tab. Neither of those things are terribly annoying (since we planned to have a single bill anyway, and paying as you go isn 't a big deal), but the way they established the 'ground rules ' while we were still sitting down made us feel more like we had already done something wrong. It 's a Parisian Irish bar which is basically like going to PF Changs and expecting authentic Mongolian food."
