"I had lunch here Sunday with a group of friends. we could taste different dishes accompanied by excellent wine (barbera and sweet of dogliani) as appetizers: raw and cooked salami, raw soil with wheat, veal sausage, cotechino with purè, veal. as before: tagliatelle with mushrooms and ravioloni with ragù. sweet: hazelnut cake with hot chocolate topping. all very good and greedy (a little less tagliatelle with mushrooms), but the slowness was a very painful key. we sat at the table at 12:30 and finished with coffee at 15:30 (despite the menu had been agreed days before the time of booking. ) price 30 euro per person. the staff is friendly and helpful. positive note: large parking lot in front of the restaurant."

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Da Aldo. I had the tomato, mozzarella, and prosciutto sandwich and could have had a second it was so good. The bread and ingredients were as fresh as you can get as they sliced everything in front of you. This is a must visit when on Capri!

da aldo is located at the bottom of the ferry. simply search for the yellow markise as the picture shows. it can be very busy with the locals that is very good. they can ask, have made a sandwich as they like it. brot they use was great and the meat was great. that was a great takeaway sandwich that my wife and I just enjoyed. we ate the sandwiches on monte solara. Da Aldo is located down by the ferry landing. Just look for the yellow awning as the picture shows. It can get very busy with the locals which is very good. You can ask to have a sandwich made the way you like it. The bread they use was great and the meat was great. This was a great takeaway sandwich that my wife and I just enjoyed. We actually ate the sandwiches on top of Monte Solara.

This restaurant is not one of the cool places that, unfortunately, are invading our slats. aldo, time stopped. Lucky. the local is a leap back in time: 80's furniture, bar corner, cup glass. the food, fortunately, in the narrow tradition of the langa (handmade cutlets, tuna calf, ragù cooked as you must), with some incursion in the novelty. appropriate cellar. prices are aligned with what you serve. "Dogliani con I suoi quasi 5.000 abitanti e'rimasto fortunatamente uno del paesi piu' intatti ed autentici della magica Langa del vino e del tartufo. Merito anche dell'ottimo vino, il grande dolcetto di Dogliani, che ultimamente ha scelto la denominazione Dogliani, per una migliore valorizzazione sui mercati italiani ed internazionali. La Cisra' una manifestazione che ogni anno il due novembre attira migliaia di turisti appassionati e buongustai per assaggiare questo piatto della tradizione povera dei contadini, un minestrone di verdure arricchito dalle trippe, cucinato in grandi pentole per tantissime ore dalle sapienti cuciniere del grande mondo dei campi. Fin dalle prime ore del mattino il menu a base di questo fantastico piatto della cosidetta cucina povera, in realta' una vera chicca della cucina stagionale di Langa viene servito dai bravissimi ragazzi e ragazze del paese, con aggiunta di ottimi affettati , la classica torta di nocciole e un buon bicchiere di Dogliani. Per problemi legati ad intolleranza alimentare nei confronti della carne bovina, della moglie,.come ogni anno scegliamo la vineria Riviera con I tavoli all'aperto sulla bella piazza con vistale della splendida chiesa barocca con la grande cupola verde per gustare la Cisra' e un piatto diverso per la persona con I problemi di intolleranza. Un giovane, simpatico cameriere ci trova immediatamente un posto nell'accogliente dehors. Un fumante,generoso e buonissimo piatto di ravioli con ripieno di erbette, condito con zucca e gorgonzola e naturalmente per il sottoscritto una fumante ciotola, di terracotta con la deliziosa Cisra', che ogni ristorante cucina per questa bella sagra. Un bianco Arneis ed un grande Dogliani per accompagnare un ottimo e salutare spuntino.I bicchieri si sono svuotati in un attimo, fortunatamente il bravissimo cameriere cI raggiunge con un pronto bis. Due ottimi caffe' ed un conto onesto di 31,00 euro per uno spuntino ricco, buonissimo ed, abbondante in questa Langa in festa e con un caldo sole. Siamo gia' stati in molte occasioni in questa pulitissima, allegra e simpatica vineria, trovandoci sempre benissimo e che non possiamo che raccomandare senza indugi."
