"I was so excited to visit Daffodil Mulligan for my birthday. The staff were friendly but a little over the top constantly making suggestions for extra dishes despite us repeatedly telling them we were happy with our choices. The food was ok. It wasn't fantastic but ok. We all expected more given everything we've seen online. The sirloin to share was incredibly disappointing. It cost £95 and supposedly serves 2/3 people. It served 2 at most and was so charred we couldn't eat most of it. We ordered a reasonable amount of food and the bill came to £430 for 4 people. We felt the price was steep considering the quality of the meal. I won't rush back."

Another great night here. Plymouth only negatives was it was a little bit loud and it is on the pricier side. But service excellent as usual and the food gorgeous.

Good food served very nicely. Attentive but not intrusive. Mackerel main dish was cooked to perfection. Everyone loved the mash and the bread. Good lunch. Would recommend.

We had a great evening with colleagues at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend it. Starting off at Gibneys downstairs is also a great choice.

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Really interesting dishes. Bone marrow and beef tartare was delicious as was the ceviche. In the basement is a live music venue which is open late into the night. Makes for a good night out.

Perfectly pleasant but not totally blown away. A good solid meal. The marrow mash was delish. The chips were perfect. Buttermilk butter whoa! I enjoyed the cocktails and staff were great and helpful. Sadly the wine was not chilled enough for £50+ . 4 peeps, cocktails, starters, mains and 2 bottles of wine approx £360.

Great food and evening. Went with a large group of people, with a few vegetarians. We all went for the tasting menu with a couple of us going for the vegetarian tasting menu. The food was great, punch flavours with some interesting textures to the dishes. Some were simple and others were well thought out. The desserts were rich in flavour. The service was great throughout the whole dinner and staff continually checking whether everything was okay.

Really great food with highlight barbecued pork belly, soft shell crabs and black pudding croquette, all particularly excellent and worth coming back for. Service was relaxed and friendly but efficient and well-informed too. The atmosphere is definitely vibrant with a noise level a bit too much for aged 60+ ears, but staff made the effort to put us in the quieter bar area not normally used then it was fine. Not cheap but we didn't hold back on what we ordered. We will be back!
