have some wonderful meals in this restaurant. from pizza to oktopus, pasta fagioli e vongole; it was just great!

Overpriced and poor quality. When we complained the fish wasn't fresh, we were told what do you expect, you are in Germany!

Probably the poorest Italian restaurant I have visited, this year. The pizza base was as soggy as a marsh. Expensive enough for very average quality.

After resting in our hotel after a 13 hour flight, we came across this restaurant after an evening walk. The menu needed to attract our young teenage daughter and pizza did the trick! Very welcoming, friendly staff and a warm ambience. It was very busy... which is always a good sign! We enjoyed our food, of pizza and lasagne, which was well presented and generous portions. Definitely recommend as a 'taste of Italy ' in Munich!!

We had made a reservation for 6 and when we arrived we were told that due to the rain they could not give us a table. There was plenty of space and they could have easily arranged a table for us or at least have...called us to inform us of this issue, instead of making us go there and then just giving us this unpleasant news. I would have thought that after 6 months being closed, they’d want to be back working but seems it wasn’t the case! Have not experienced such poor and unprofessional service before! View menu

I live in Munich since a while now and looking for a good restaurant, I found Dal Cavaliere . What to say? Staff is amazing and super kind, food delicious and many kinds of wine. We were a group of people from different countries and we...tried almost everything; the only issue is that we have not been able to really try everything since few dishes have been ordered more than once ; As an Italian I am more than sure to suggest it even if Spanish and Greek friends said exactly the same ; Excellent work guys!!

Wir 3 waren nach ner geselligen Flasche Wein am Samstag Abend in der Stadt unterwegs auf der Suche nach nem Italienischen Lokal da es am Samstag immer schwierig ist ein Sitzplatz für 3 Personen zu bekommen und wir schon 1 Stunde ein am suchen waren entschlossen wir uns ins Dal Cavaliere dort ging es echt schnell mussten nur 5 Minuten warten. Die Pizzas und die Pasta war sehr, sehr gut die Weinempfehlung hat optimal gepasst und das Service Personal sehr zu vorkommend. Der Abend hat uns sehr gefallen und werden bald mal wieder vorbei schauen.Danke an das Team und bis Bald.

we came in to ask for a table and said we had to wait about 20 minutes. we said we were going around for 20 minutes and the waiter took our name and assured us to reserve a table for us as soon as the other few people who waited for one had one too. we came back after 20 minutes and after we waited for it, we found 15 more people coming in. When we asked for explanations and how long we should wait, the same waiter started yelling at us that they could not foresee when the people were gone and that the waiting time was still unknown. rarely found someone more rude. we thanked and went. never again!
