"A short visit with friends. We were very pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. We both had rooms on the front with balconies (our friends had a suite so a choice of 2 rooms for them! the dinner was lovely with the tempur prawns highly recommended by the 3 who had them. The breakfast choice from the menu was good too. The owner Graeme and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating...all very friendly. Would go back."

The best sausages ever, they are made for them specially, the best I've ever had anywhere. Bacon beans tomatoes egg and toast, what more do you want. Will be back.

Decided to try 'Dandy at the Bay Horse ' as it was under new management. What can I say, very much an improvement. Staff were friendly, food was perfect and overall atmosphere was great.

The meals are outstanding so much so that we refused to eat elsewhere during our weekend stay despite visiting nearby town and villages. The portions are HUGE I Will be shocked if you leave the restaurant hungry

Went in with family a few weeks back, had aubergine lasagna and chips with garlic stottie. Was really good. Was a very long wait, but the staff were very friendly and attentive. Not mad at the food in this town at all.

50 min wait for a dry, tasteless burger in a dry crumbly bun. Came with red onion on salad when I'd categorically stated that I am unable to eat them. Good food under previous management. Sadly, no longer. Won't be back.

I booked this hotel for a family group of 8 people, including children and a dog. The service was great, and a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere in the bar where we ate. The burgers were amazing! Definitely eat here again, thank you: .

"started really well and went to the counter and ordered a cream with bananas and nutella and especially gave no earthberries I also asked after a san pelegríno still water as this was on the menu. I was the first person to order and the last to eat at the end. I brought my water over which was a cheaper brand water I just had £2 for what I would like to have seen? we will, when asked for san pelligrino to say water that they do not in. Finally my crepe and I take a bite and understand that it is earthly on the whole species and wise by which I am allergic. one of my family members takes it back and says that I have asked for bananas, there is no earthly reason why I cannot eat it and did not want it on my crepe. then 5 minutes later another crêpe comes out, who was my bite crêpe, that someone had put the earthy and banan in the bananas. disgusting ... not sure whether this was a mistake or just stingy either as it did not. it is then returned because there is no way I eat, and it is explained again, there is a reason that I can not eat strawberries, to which then one of the owners passes to serve the right crepe and apology. I really hope that today a lection has been learned because cross-contamination is not a sweat. please be careful when they eat there. I didn't get any refunds offered, but then they were ready to serve me a bite crawl, so it didn't surprise me so much."
