"this family-run restaurant is very exotic and fascinating. we were very interested in trying out the food and experiencing something Africa! and yes, eating was actually very interesting, the sour brot, the slowly cooked meat - were delicious! the service was very funny - the waiter (I suppose he is the owner) - shows how to eat the food - so he brings a small meal to a table and eats it with the fingers - and they follow his instructions. the decoration of the restaurant is authentic and not protzig - I liked it! I think they have a little problem with the right marketing and service. the waiter has not tried to recommend something from the menu, he has not done the effort to ask us whether we are interested in coffee / tee or desserts. most of the time he was out of sight and we were left to ourselves. I really believe that customers would appreciate a more confident service. otherwise - great place!"

Here are delicious African food. The host is very friendly and accommodating. For beginners there is also a food instruction. : The locality is cozy and looks very authentic. They've been here more often and are getting happy. Clear recommendation!

this family-run restaurant is my favourite place. as I live close to, I often go. the Ethiopian cuisine is really authentic (I traveled to Ethiopia and can compare), my favorite dishes are the Azifa salad and the Tatar kitfo. the owners are a few and also very nice! great recommended! View menu

the inner is really sweet! super modern and comfortable the service was very good and they gave us everything we wanted. the portions were however very small, even for the huge plate which is usually filled with food. altogether really good! although we both paid 40 euro for us, which is a bottle of water, a plate and an salad a little much

Ethiopian / Eritrean eating is fantastic when they know it. but please do not come here because the owner with the portions is greedy and too lazy to provide a normal service. they can wait 30 minutes until they get the menu. Moreover, the portions are tiny and ghey began to serve the eating in tiny little bowls, which is ridiculous. try other Injera restaurants in a few minutes. All the others are great, as I was with everyone.

we were there to eat and drink at a quiet evening. we were initially patient, but it took 20 minutes to order drinks, 45 minutes to order food! the one who serves seems to have little warning what has happened - always came only on request to a table or brought something that had been ordered. eating was definitely interesting, but I would recommend the vegetarian over the meat. the meat dishes all felt as very cheap cuts, fat and even cartilage in almost every bite. overall, I would not return. I would say very authentic. :D I have to give the many reviews right before, the restaurant doesn't seem very welcoming, is a bit cuddly and you need something to get into the ambience. The waiter, at the same time chef and probably also owner, you have to get rid of it if you want something. But for that he's all the more friendly when you have his attention. He can actually tell you amazingly much about the food and does this willingly. Speaking of the food and it depends, it was really good. Well seasoned and exciting.

we decided by chance for de afric and certainly not regretted it. the place is small and friendly, although in the center of the city eat "away from the hectic". I had hot lamb stew, my man hot bark stew, both had various suppers, accompanied by two supplements, injera pancakes, fladenbrot and red wine. I really eat too much, but eating was irresistible. service - they are served by the owner and his wife, both friendly, ready to talk, speak both German and English. interieur - I think that you can see in the suburbs of addis abeba. I would like to visit de afric again and again...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
