"With two toddlers in tow, it 's hard to find places that are both welcoming and entertaining for them. Even if the place bills itself as child-friendly , I still find that these places are only child-friendly if you have children that don 't move. Deli X is a great place to sit and have a coffee, and the kids are happy to sit and play. I met a friend (with no kids), and she read to them while we had hot drinks. The owners are very understanding about children, and sometimes their children are also around to play with mine. We really feel welcome here, and my children are always asking to come back!"

I love this casual deli that serves perfectly cooked fresh food, ranging from sandwiches and soups to full main meals. I have never had a bad meal here and the staff are very friendly. This deli serves the best breakfast in South London!

Nice food, calm roomy atmosphere, free wifi, no rush to leave so good for meeting up, small garden. Also a wholefood shop deli. A nice break to escape hustle bustle. V near train station. Toddlers babies seem v welcome. What’s not to like?

I came here for curiosity, nice variety of genuine organic products. But the best part is behind the shop, an amazing retró coffe room where you can drink a delicious coffee and enjoy the moment. I will come back here , and I suggest to everyone

I stopped in here for lunch today and got the vegan roasted butternut squash plate and spinach salad for takeaway. The squash was roasted very well, with earthy, savoury mushrooms in a pesto sauce. The salad was a good-sized portion and tasty as well. Very nice counter staff.

Come inside, unwind, peruse the menu. Feel relaxed in this cozy and eclectic space that welcomes you with open arms. Despite being bustling with families during Sunday breakfasts, the service and food are top-notch. Perfect for a peaceful afternoon tea or a light lunch. The butternut pumpkin dishes are a must-try. The deli offers a variety of high-quality condiments and fine foods that will satisfy any craving.

I decided to give this place a try for lunch and ordered a cheese salad sandwich. The bread was delicious, but the cheese was lacking in flavor and the "salad" was simply a few leaves. I was disappointed, especially for the price of nearly £4. The service was also slow, which was frustrating during lunchtime. I may return for coffee and cake, but I don't think I'll order a sandwich again as it wasn't worth the price.

Stopped off for coffee/tea and snacks. My friend chose the tea and sandwich (very reasonably priced) deal. I chose coffee and would really have liked a croissant. Despite 8+ options on the menu none whatsoever were available ... Never mind went for the vegan fruit flapjack. Not vegan myself but it was satisfying with a delicious taste. Lovely decor both the shop and seating area. Love supporting independants whenever I can.

I stopped off for a sandwich and a cool drink at about 3pm and had the place to myself for the first 10 minutes. Staff were welcoming and were most helpful when I was humming and hawing selecting from the menu. The front of the Deli is a shop and deli counter, the back of the store opens up into a restaurant with an eclectic selection of chairs and tables, and a raised platform with sofas and children 's toys. French doors at the back of the room lead out into a rear yard with additional seating. There is a really nice atmosphere in here. The sandwich wasn 't bad, but nothing to rave about.
