We stayed there in October 2016 on a weekday. There were two buses in front of the square, and the wind bag king was apparently completely overloaded. The place was closed. Although tables were still free, we were thrown out again. What happens in high season when two buses are already the maximum??????

We were in the Windsack King today and are still thrilled by the kindness of the staff. Even the food, it was the daily offer, tasted very good, we had packed the huge wind bags and enjoyed them at home all by themselves. The wind bag king is worth a visit.... had the advantage that he wasn't so full today. We like to come back.

we have arrived with mixed feelings today at noon there were buses in the parking lot, lots of motorcycles, oldtimer (a club? ...and the correspondingly very, very many people. very beautiful ambience... that was unfortunately also. Experience on a sunny Sunday. More guests than the Terasse could have. Waitress totally overloaded, stressed and unfriendly, the male colleagues were at least not unfriendly. The wind bags looked very good visually. You can't eat them with pleasure. Had a big wind bag. Wind bag dough so hard that you can break it, cream, not fresh, blueberries from the glass. After half I got bad. Too bad, but unfortunately never again, absolute disappointment.

Since I love wind bags very much and you can only have them with cherries everywhere, the visit to the wind bag king in our holiday was mandatory program. We were there on a Wednesday and it was very full. Nevertheless super friendly staff that had time to make a brief. It was also welcome. Now to the wind bag: We had ordered the XXL wind bag. This was super delicious, but unfortunately it was too big for me. Nonetheless, it's not a problem, it's been packed with me and I could still enjoy it at home. Price-Leistu ratio ok. Conclusion:Can't be done often, but is always a holiday highlight.

In the autumn holidays I was with my daughter and her two friends in Altenau. Since the visit of the wind bag king did not work on the way to Goslar (because of the construction site at the bridge), we moved it to the end of the holiday. What we did not know at that time were changed opening hours from November. (Saturday Sunday from 11 h) So we broke up with dog for a big walk and arrived quite frozen at 10:30 h at the restaurant. Door was open... The host said it wasn't open yet, but he could bring us some hot coffee or cocoa. Of course we accepted that.
