"This was listed as the best place to eat in Sestriere when we looked, so we thought we would give it a try. The hors d 'oeuvre arrived, a flavourless shaving of carrot with an accompanying non determinable counterpart. The starters. For the life in me I can 't remember. Mains.The good bit the vegetarian pasta dish was edible. The 'locally sourced ' meat dish that my partner endured resembled a crumbling cork erecting itself out of a vintage bottle of Barolo. If only we had the Barolo. The 'Tuna ' a friend had, I 'd actually mistaken for chicken, as the white tough lump had definitely never gracefully glided anywhere. When asked if we were happy, I politely mentioned the quality of the meats, to be told it was local. This is not true and cannot be used as a get out clause to try and disguise to foreign visiters the poor quality of what they are providing. Not good."

"is a restaurant above the average in the area. My children ate a dish of dumplings (made by them, not packaged.) I also appreciated much that we were proposed to divide the pact into 2. In fact, it's enough for my children. If not they always advance. I ate a 2-star appetizer. after I took a pasta filled with mountain cottage and vegetable garden. top! very thin pasta, simple ingredients, but of quality. I can see. My husband was very happy with the choice of wines. We were fine. And the kind and nice waiters. Good."

"The atmosphere and the waiter at this place was great! It truly felt like a genuine restaurant! we were a group of 9 people and 7 of us hade the racklett. It was good but not anazing. We were three vegetarians and we only got some more potatoes to go with the ravklett instead of the salami and ham the other four had. The two people who didnt tack the racklet took a pasta dish and they were really happy with what they got. If I went there another time I would order from the menu and take a pasta dish. Overall this was a cosy place worthy visiting, the rackeltt was okay."

"Whilst skiing in the area, it was very hard to find vegan options that were clearly marked which is why it was nice to find somewhere that did mark it on their menu (perhaps only on the Italian one). I ordered the polenta with mushrooms which was a little bland and perhaps it would have been nicer to have a pizza without cheese but I wanted to try something different. I also ordered the farinata which was tasty but unfortunately only the plain one was vegan. I guess the rating of 3 stars is just a reflection of how low the bar is in the area."
