Amazing food and service. Best sunday roast i have ever had. Absolutely stunning pub.

I have been going to Duke on the Green for many years,great food,friendly staff,good atmosphere!

Sunday roast with all trims made to the right a sweet pub with a light airy interior and some tables in the sun. the brat was generously cut and the service was efficient.

Pub seems nice and cosy waiting 90 mins for main course and still not turned up. Many other people also frustrated. Just cleared the drinks bill and left. They were very apologetic but we were very hungry! I won't be chancing it again....

beautiful pub, beautiful decor. had a birthday party last night for about 40 people and was great. all the employees were very helpful and looked at us brilliantly. the barsnacks were delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. thanks for a great night! View menu

directly opposite the green, this pub is a beautiful place to spend a Sunday afternoon. the cozy interieur is welcoming with comfortable sitting and fireplace area and there are some tables on the walk outside, which are packed during a warm summer evening the uplifted gastro pub-style food is good, but (as usual with a young’s pub) the veggie selection is quite laborious (at the last I was there it was risotto or risotto). they can eat from the same menu in the main bar area or in the dining room I much prefer the blooming atmosphere of the bar area it is a little expensive but less pretentious than a few of the other pubs round and service is friendly.

after a walk through parson’s green we discovered duke on the green, a posh pub on the corner of the green. in the inner they are pampered with the choice of seats armchairs, stools, poofs and all with different patterns that should bump together, but instead mix perfectly. if we had had more time, we were willing to fall into the stack of board games in the corner although easy on the pricier side, they really worth money. ms woods. what happened to this place?! Christmas Day lunch 2013 will certainly be something I remember, but unfortunately for all wrong reasons. I had originally booked for 12 o'clock, but for reasons I don't need to mention here, I called the here at 9.45 o'clock to see if they could possibly go back half an hour lunchtime. I realized that this might not be possible and was prepared for a no, but not quite as it was delivered. xxxxx (one of the dukes manager) told me that actually 11.40 would be better, but she was willing to make a compromise and allow me and my family to come 12.15 okay, I understand his christmas so no big thing here really, I just didn't think that...read more View menu
