Beautiful pub, very nice decor, good selection of Ales beer. I had the burger who was delicious.

Sunday roast with all trims made to the right a sweet pub with a light airy interior and some tables in the sun. the brat was generously cut and the service was efficient.

Fantastic meal, we had the fish chips big atmosphere with great beer. 1. Class service, we were served by a beautiful girl, Felicity, who was very professional and told us all about local tourist things. Will definitely return

Pub seems nice and cosy waiting 90 mins for main course and still not turned up. Many other people also frustrated. Just cleared the drinks bill and left. They were very apologetic but we were very hungry! I won't be chancing it again....

A few weeks ago came with my family for a pub lunch, right British pub food made excellent. Thank you to Declan that you have taken the time to really focus on my grandmother and recommend to her the cod and chips she said it was the best she has tasted for years!

I often visit this pub for Sunday lunch or drinks however wanted to review for Christmas lunch 2022! Absolutely flawless. So much thought had gone into everything, from the lovely table decorations to the little bag of Lily’s Kitchen dog treats wrapped with a bow for my dog who was with me! The food was delicious- all came out hot and fresh and the staff were all so lovely and didn’t rush us between courses and really just let us enjoy being out on Xmas day. I’ve been other places before for Xmas lunch and this was by far the best. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend , and would definitely come back next year! Thank you!

directly opposite the green, this pub is a beautiful place to spend a Sunday afternoon. the cozy interieur is welcoming with comfortable sitting and fireplace area and there are some tables on the walk outside, which are packed during a warm summer evening the uplifted gastro pub-style food is good, but (as usual with a young’s pub) the veggie selection is quite laborious (at the last I was there it was risotto or risotto). they can eat from the same menu in the main bar area or in the dining room I much prefer the blooming atmosphere of the bar area it is a little expensive but less pretentious than a few of the other pubs round and service is friendly.

after a walk through parson’s green we discovered duke on the green, a posh pub on the corner of the green. in the inner they are pampered with the choice of seats armchairs, stools, poofs and all with different patterns that should bump together, but instead mix perfectly. if we had had more time, we were willing to fall into the stack of board games in the corner although easy on the pricier side, they really worth money. Excellent food service and ambience. Loved it. Earlier I gave 5 star to this restaurant. That was my first review on this pub food. And food was amazing. Now this is my second review on same pub . But this time it's only 2 star as bad food service . As yesterday I took my cousin from Singapore for lunch and we had a worse experience on food. We ordered fish and chips . But fish was all burnt from both sides and when we told the person who served us said that fish was beer coated so this is the texture and cour u get.
