"The Cortina is probably one of the oldest ice cream cafés in Cologne. Right on the ring, at Zülpicherplatz, probably the largest point in Cologne nightlife, the café has its residence. The prefabricated outdoor terrace is filled in summer to the last place and nowhere can you get better ice than here. One sits with a view of the plants - by the way a special feature in Cologne with background, - upstream taxi room as in the log, sees left to the Herz-Jesu church and just the ring where the traffic pushes two ways. The ice cream is homemade, the card huge with all the ice creams you want. Casata, Coupe Melba, raspberry zziton sorbet, a huge cup of ice cream café ́, large or small mixed with cream that you just want to taste everything and I almost managed it once. But after that I was almost broken, because what does not cost, it is known that there is nothing; Friday night sitting here in the late evening sun enjoying ice cream, watching people and celebrating with friends before you go to night life, because this is the Cortina right. Of course, in the last two years the quality has gradually decreased, the profit is now becoming increasingly important and since most guests no longer have the best taste buds, destroyed by too much cold, it does not notice. It's already some time when I was there, it was in winter. The ice was asolut fantastic. That I remember months later shows how good it is.

Very high quality on ice. Very good portions and fair prices for Cologne. The staff is on zack. It's still such a real Italian ice cream jelly. I'll be happy to be back.

I went there as a little kid, when die "deutsche Mark" was the currency and you could get an ice cream cone for some "Groschen." Still the best ice cream at a reasonable price with such a huge selection of sundaes that one has to come back. View menu

I was a few friends in the beautiful ice cream. There is really a wonderful ice card here no dream remains unfulfilled. In Cologne there is only one ice cream that is even better. (more on occasion: The photos are new and up to date from July 2011.

My better half and I were in the ice cream café to drink cappuccino and a coffee.
