"Finding Mexican food in Barcelona has been a struggle for me in the past 10 years. It's either over-priced and mediocre, or really bad. El Amate has a small but decently priced menu, good food with a large selection of tequilas and mescals. A nice place to have a beer and some snacks!"

Unfortunately, Bad value for money. The food was not what we expected at all dry chicken, no vegetables and small sizes. The service was poor, the room too lit and without music. The only thing which was tasty the guacamole was wayy overpriced. Sorry, but we do not recommend it.
